Either I can't see tears anymore, or tears just don't exist here. With the reading I've done, it looks like it's likely... the former. It's probably my loss.

I used to be able to open tears, windows into other worlds. Enter them and take things from them, as well. I suppose it makes sense that this place wouldn't allow me to do that. Finding an exit would be all too easy.

[A sigh.]

I was hoping my second entry would be a happier one, for those of you that want to leave.

I find myself busier here than I was back home.

I'm sure that's no small feat. What have you found most interesting to study?

I've always been fond of lockpicking. A strange thing to enjoy, but I like a good challenge.

And one never knows when it will come in handy.

It's a useful skill to have.

But eventually, provided the castle doesn't attempt to protect its locks from picking.

Do you have an impression collection?

I have a fair number of books here with me. Most are from the library.

And what do you like to read about?

Everything. But one of my favourite subjects is philosophy. Much of what I've studied here so far has been to better understand the new philosophers I've encountered

We should exchange books sometime. It might be an interesting experience.

I would enjoy that, once I've finished with these.
