Either I can't see tears anymore, or tears just don't exist here. With the reading I've done, it looks like it's likely... the former. It's probably my loss.

I used to be able to open tears, windows into other worlds. Enter them and take things from them, as well. I suppose it makes sense that this place wouldn't allow me to do that. Finding an exit would be all too easy.

[A sigh.]

I was hoping my second entry would be a happier one, for those of you that want to leave.

Yes, but it's hard to tell which is which, sometimes. Or if it's even the right one.

Apologies, miss, it just sounds too unreal to know someone might have that power and do nothing else with it. You could be a hero...

It's not without it's limits, and it's entirely useless here. Not all powers make one a hero.

I suppose so... I was just hoping for more heroes here. There aren't nearly enough.

A lot of lazy people, and then a smattering of uniques.

Not doing anything. Doesn't that count? Although anyone who does do anything doesn't seem to get far...

They might not think they have the power to do anything.

Because everybody tells them not to try, since it's been attempted and failed before. But there's always a first.
