So those wandering about the castle grounds may find a small orange creature huddled under a tree. Perhaps a child if not for the wooden pipe in his mouth, lazily trailing smoke. It is too pleasant a day to spend cooped up inside stone walls. Still, he is a curious fellow, dictating thoughtfully now to the journal: ]

I wonder who owns this yellow moustache, and if they might have kindly advice on how to smoke a pipe without accidentally setting it on fire?

[ Gandalf would know, but that is a thought much too heavy for a day so bright. ]

[ Oh hello. Frodo stares at this man a moment, but that might be rude, so he stands up and gives a little bow. ]

Is this moustache yours by any chance?

[Still staring] Wow he is gonna be mad you stole his look.

[ He reaches to fiddle with the fluff on his lips. ]

I would return it if I could. What is his name?

He's called the Lorax. He's... well he's kind of a guardian-thingie.

[The Lorax was out doing his rounds around the castle, but pauses when he sees someone dressed like... him? He squints suspiciously at whoever this impostor is. That mustache doesn't even do his justice.

There's obviously only one way to deal with this.]

[ OH LOOK. The mystery is revealed. Frodo laughs for a bit before he remembers his manners. Oops. ]

Mind you, I am a hobbit. [ Weed has got to be some kind of midget, maybe. ]

I have yet to attempt smoking a pipe with mine, but I concede that an unwanted mustache does make many things a bit difficult.

Might I ask, who in this castle normally wears a yellow mustache? I can't recall seeing it.

I have been told he is called Lorax, and that he would be most upset to see me with his moustache.

He will simply have to come to the understanding that it can't be helped. I'm sure few residents of this castle would choose to have an uncomfortable strip of hair glued to their face.
