[Chihiro was too embarrassed initially to leave her room the day before (for the most part anyway. Most attempts to leave eventually brought her straight back or to a suitable hiding place) but now she's out and about in the castle looking awfully princely and pink.

Except there seems to be tears in her eyes (which are currently blue instead of their usual hazel) and she's a bit more... upset than usual?

She speaks towards the journal eventually]

I-I don't mind the outfit but... C-Can we really not take any of this off...?

I had to sleep with th-these-- [sniff] contacts in and now they really hurt...

[she sniffs again. Sure she might be overreacting a little, but this is also her first time wearing contacts (and she cries easily on a normal day anyway)]

H-How long do these things usually last...??

[she can be found wandering throughout the castle, alternating between pulling down her jacket and rubbing her eyes.... the latter of which does not go over too well...]

[Chie was walking down the hallway, unable to sleep in her new outfit... Which is Chihiro's outfit. It was then she bumped onto Chihiro quite literally when turning to another hallway since she had her eyes closed while she was yawning]

[Chihiro shut her eyes tightly as contact was made and fell over onto her butt as a result. When she reopened her eyes he quickly tried to pull his jacket back down over the bike shorts again but then looked up and--]

M...Me?

[the recognition is sadly not immediate to her SORRY CHIE HER EYES REALLY HURT RN OK]

[Uhh, what would you say to someone when they see you wearing their clothes? This is almost like something out of a comedy.]

Yeah... Hope you don't mind if I'm wearing your clothes.

[Lara was at the lobby, trying to get the jacket off from her Utena costume, but to no avail. She sighed and stood up from her chair, planning to just head to her room and sleep it off. Maybe it would be over tomorrow...

But then she saw Chihiro walking towards the part of the lobby where she stood, in the same exact outfit! She stood there, perplexed, while looking at Chihiro]

Well...

This is somewhat awkward.

[Chihiro stops in her tracks when she hears that, seeing Lara and face getting red.

Awkward indeed]

O-Oh... I-I'm sorry! I-I didn't mean to-- [--wear the same outfit, but even she knew that was hardly her fault]

[The awkward atmosphere lightened up when Lara smiled at Chihiro's adorableness]

Don't be. That actually suits you more than me.

Y-You... You think so?

[her face starts to turn red]

I... I don't know. It's a little boyish and boy stuff- [pause] doesn't always look good on me...

[Rise heard Chihiro over the journal while wandering through the castle herself. Her immediate reaction was wanting to see her costume - she bets whatever it is, she looks really cute in it! But then she hears the part about the contacts and quickly shifts to her concerned-self-appointed-big-sister mode...]

Oh, your costume came with contacts too?

[She's had to wear them before for filming and photoshoots - not often, but sometimes. So she has a little experience in wearing them for extended periods and relieving discomfort.]

I can help with that! Where are you?

R-Rise-san...?

I'm-- I'm in the games room right now... C-Can you really help...?

Sure! [Big sis will make everything better soon Chihiro, don't you worry!] Just give me a minute to get over there, okay?

[She's already on the seventh floor, so the game room is just down the hall. On the way, she makes sure to wish up the item she needs...

... And she's there in only a couple of minutes!]

[If Chihiro's costume is as involved as hers, she might not recognize her right away...]

[Chihiro was curled up on one of the couches, trying to look as small as possible. At Rise's voice she raises her head and looks over the back of the couch]

Rise-san...?

Chihiro? .... Hey, it's Gale. Are you okay? What happened?

Ah! Gale-kun!

I-It's nothing major... Th-The castle forced me into one of those outfits and my eyes hurt because of the contacts...

[he relaxes a little now that he knows she's not seriously hurt again, but still...]

Contacts? What do you mean? Did something hit you in the eyes?

Oh... Does your world not have them?

They're like substitutes for eye glasses that you put right on your eyes... But there's non prescription ones you can use just to change your eye colour.

Wh-Which is the kind the castle is making me wear... They hurt and get dry if you leave then in too long though! As I am... finding out for myself...

Oh no... A fat suit does sound horrible. To think the castle would go to those lengths... [why you gotta be such a poop castle]

The... Frostbite? That doesn't sound pleasant...

[Meanwhile, Utena's still stuck in Kirijo's outfit, fur coat and all. She was tempted to just stay in her room all day to keep cool, but that didn't last long; being cooped up inside made her too antsy, and soon she started to patrol the halls in search of something to do. Oh well, it could be worse. It wasn't that hot inside the castle, and besides, her outfit didn't look half-bad. Her mind starts to wander, when she notices another girl close by.]

Hey, wait a minute...

[Pink hair? Check. Black school jacket, ultra-fancy edition? Check. Red shorts? Double check. Great, another clone, just what she needed. Utena tries her best to stifle a groan, when she notices Chihiro rubbing her face. That catches her attention immediately, and now concern, she walks over as quickly as she can in her new heels]

Hey, are you alright? [Offers a smile] I mean, the outfit's not that bad, is it?

[Joking, joking - the outfit's at the bottom of her priority list, honestly. But she does look upset. Or, if not upset, sleepy. Or itchy? It's hard to tell.]

O-Oh... Hello... [you're awfully pink too wow

She immediately brings her hands to her chest, shrinking in a little]

It's not the outfit... I-It's the contacts... I had to sleep with them in and now my eyes hurt...

[It's...okay, she's worried about Chihiro, definitely. Making sure she's alright is her number one priority! But Utena can't help but think how weird it is to see someone look like her, and yet, act so unlike her. Weirder yet, though, is the sense of deja-vu that comes with it. She does her best to ignore that.]

Well...I'm afraid I don't really know much about contact lenses. [Gives her an apologetic smile] But, hey! Why don't we go down to the clinic? Maybe they'll have something for your eyes.

The clinic...? You think they will? I wasn't sure if they would since contacts are normally a cosmetic thing... [and then what if you can only use certain types of eye drops on them? This is the sort of question running through her mind right now]
