I have found myself in the most curious sort of predicament. One moment, I was dead and the next, I am standing in the middle of what I can only describe as a room with a remarkable view. To further complicate matters, I have located this device which is all too foreign to me. Thankfully, I am in full possession of my wits - which are substantial - and I was able to turn it on.

[He pauses to let his words sink in before continuing, his tone as light and unassuming as ever:]

My name is Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, though that is rather much to remember. There was a time that I simply responded to Albus, so I think that shall do for the present time.

What I seek are answers and I will patiently await them until either they drift my way or I discover them on my own.

Not really, just my name. I do have a serial number though, DLN 000, it's kind of like a code.

Forgive me. [Even with his intellect, Albus is being hit with too much at once.] Why do you possess a serial number?

Most machines have them, we're just built with them.

I have never spoken to a machine, I apologize if I am being rude.

I don't think you have been, I wouldn't worry about it.

[aphoenixsong]

I appreciate your patience, then. I must say this is a remarkable experience.

[whistles_the_blues]

Oh really? Well I'm glad your enjoying yourself.

But you said you had questions, anything I can help with there?

[aphoenixsong]

I can't imagine why I wouldn't be enjoying myself.

Do you know why we were brought to Paradisa?

Hm. Hard to say, it just kind of likes to pick people up and put us here. Why exactly is a bit of a mystery as far as I know. The people it grabs tend to have been significant in their own worlds in some way or another.

So it is possible that it is attracted to those who stand out? [It doesn't surprise him that he has been here twice, then.]

I think it's safe to say that's fully possible.

[aphoenixsong]

Well that isn't fair. [Said light-heartedly.]

You're right, but I'm not about to start complaining about it.

It would be like railing against a wall - hardly satisfying and incredibly useless.
