[York comes to groggily. It's still the middle of the night and he feels so comfortable he almost doesn't want to get up at all, but something seems a bit off. The room is dark, but even so he can tell it doesn't have the dimensions of his room or one of the places he's used to staying at. Still, nothing seems to be particularly wrong, so he almost drifts off again with Carolina's arms around him until he realizes that's what's strange about all this.

She doesn't even like to touch him.

Adrenaline forcing him wide awake, York carefully tries to extricate himself from her grip before she wakes up and decides to snap his neck for taking liberties.]

[Some time later in the day, York speaks in a mostly cheerful voice to the journal.]

I guess it had me out for about two weeks there. Sorry about that, guys.

...Did you all really feel the need to dress up like each other last week or am I just reading that wrong?

Everything ok over there? And yeah, last week was a fucking peach, glad to be back to the basic black armor.

Yeah I talked to Carolina, yeah well talked is probably not the right word. I just wanted to make sure you were ok.

No idea, somehow wound up in a tux over the armor and had some stupid theme music.

[Carolina shifts when he starts moving and shakes her head in her sleep. She tries to snake her arms tighter around him, attempting to tug him up closer. She's comfortable like this, even without being conscious enough to really see anything wrong with the situation.]

[York's breath catches and he stops struggling. This has got to be a loss of some kind, because there's no way she--but yeah, she really is snuggling up to him.

He'll wait a few minutes and see if she relaxes her grip so he can try to sneak out again, even if there's a strong part of him that really doesn't want to.]

[When his movement dies down, Carolina presses her face into his hair and settles down again. Her plain twin bed isn't exactly the roomiest set-up, but they'll both be quite warm at least, especially with Georgia's help. She falls back asleep (not that she ever really woke up) in those few minutes and her grip begins to slacken. His movement wakens her a little more fully this time and she groans audibly before realizing that someone is in her bed.

She sits bolt upright and all but jumps out of her bed to get to the other side of the room.]

[Blues responds back just as cheerful. ...Which is a little weird for him.]

It wasn't so bad, you should have been here to try it yourself.

[York chuckles.]

Oh, I don't need the castle's permission to wear a costume, I think. What did you get stuck as?

I was Brock. Basically foam muscles on top of foam muscles.

I think that implies some freedom in the choice to imitate. But even so, it would've been pretty funny to see.
