♈ Aradia: Go up. [written / open for action also]
[The time is close to sunset. The place: Tokyo Tower. Thanks to her fancy credit card, Aradia managed to get to the upper observation deck before it closes for the night. It boggles the mind how crowded it is, though. She decides to write an entry rather than try to talk over all the other tourists.]

i dont know whats a good way to put this so i guess ill just be as frank as possible
lately ive been feeling sort of burned out
like i still hate all the castles stupid bullshit but when something in particular happens i cant get myself particularly excited or angry about it
its been more like a haze of constant annoyance
i mean heck a couple days ago i woke up a different species and i didnt even care
so i suppose what im getting at is
if you can read this youve all been here at least as long as i have
have you ever experienced similar ennui
and if so how do you make it go away
[... on a whim, she adds another filter.]
[rin asano]
i dont know if youre even going to get this message wherever youre at
but if you do uh
hi
how are things
[unfiltered]
ok so i glanced at a copy of the nostos map and it doesnt look like tokyo is marked anywhere
so either were not on the same continent or its just not marked
really we could be anywhere
anyway i went up to the top of the big red tower but i couldnt see any landmarks i recognized
the city pretty much goes to the horizon every way you look
i hope this update was as unhelpful for you as it was for me :I
...
the view isnt bad though with all the lights coming on
pretty impressive actually
if you dont have anything better to do some night it might be worth a look
anyway yeah i think ill just stay here till they kick me out
then i dont know what
maybe shopping
heh ignore me im just talking to myself
((ooc: open for action at or near Tokyo Tower! feel free to run into her. she looks like this, jsyk.))

I miss the surprise. I miss the variability. And I miss having only a limited amount of options so you have to make important decisions like whether or order Chinese that will get here in ten minutes or subs that will get here in five.

you recommend adding some randomness to an otherwise mundane routine
even if that randomness causes minor inconveniences like having to heat up your pizza or pick off the bell peppers
is that right?

this is actually earth
huh
no subject
no thats not the implication at all
were still on the same planet as before
no subject
for some reason
somehow that makes even less sense
whats up with that
no subject
for some reason there are these replicas of various locales from earth and other planets scattered across the continent
and every so often the castle sees fit to send us to them
in fact sometimes when people disappear from the castle its not because theyve returned to their universe of origin
theyve been sent to one of these locales instead
with their memories altered accordingly so they believe theyve always lived there and also that its the real deal
its entirely possible that everyone here was a resident of one of the castles at some point and they just dont remember

Rapid-fire peril quickly loses its luster, and I fear there is nothing the castle could threaten that would keep me on my toes.
In turn I've found myself feeling rather stale and restless, as of late.

well
york suggested doing random stuff to keep things interesting
how are you at random stuff

All of my day's activities are planned weeks in advance.
I am tragically allergic to spontaneity.
