Just like I thought, nobody has heard of Yamagato Industries or the Nakamura family. I don't know... It was worth a shot.

Yeah. This is the second time I've been to a city where a person I know was living. The first time was in Los Angeles, and now here. I figured... his family must be pretty well-known in Tokyo because of their business.

But it's clear now we're in a different Tokyo than the one from my home.

To think, there are many Tokyos. Perhaps many Romes too.

He is your friend then?

Hiro Nakamura. Yeah, he's a very good friend of mine.

What a pity that he is not here. I might have done the same if we found ourselves in Italia.

Do you think we'll go there?

One hopes.

Was it sadder for you to be here without your friend or to not be here at all?

It's always more sad to be somewhere without my friends. And there are just too many of them that I'm without these days.

The castle takes away more than it gives, Peter?

Yeah, it sure feels that way.

I hurt you with a knife. I remember as much, but not much more.

I hurt a lot of people, too. Tried to make one kill herself... I think that place affected us more than others.

No, it wasn't your fault any more than what I did was mine.
