Thirty Two Spoons {Dictated}

[There's some rustling, and the creak of a hinge, before a slow, hesitant tune floats over the journals. When it finishes, there's a pause before the player clears her throat.]

I know this is a little sudden, but...it's so odd. When we got back, a thought occurred to me that I hadn't played a piano in ages, and I wanted to fix that. I think I might be a little rusty, though. If anyone has any requests, I'd be happy to try my hand at them.

To be quite honest, piano is a bit like riding a bike for me. I was a bit apprehensive, I thought I might have forgotten how! But I've still got it. Thank goodness.

For real though, that was great. You two are great. I have great friends.

Why thank you, sir! I used to play a lot more at home, actually.

[She chuckles.] It just came to me! I didn't mean for it to sound sad.

Well it did, and now you need to pick things up by playing something... something with soul! Just anything else.

Personally I was happy with that, but I won't say no to more music. I never really learned to play any instruments myself.

Thank you! I've been playing since I was a little girl. I'm no match for a serious player, but I do enjoy it!
