Well, people address them over the journal or meet them in person. We explain their current situation and answer their questions as best we can. Then they're sent off to look for their room or explore the castle, if they arrived in their room.

Aaand that about covers it. [Let her think...] Oh! They're also brought to the clinic if needed.

I don't actually think we have an official welcoming committee. Most of us simply answer any questions a newcomer might have and leave it at that.
