[ It's a shame that Frodo hasn't made the effort to meet Lee in person when he's so important to Clem and Clem is so dear to himself. So he is dawdling at the lobby now to fix this immediately, looking about for someone who might look like he's headed to town. ]

[ He pauses when he sees someone dawdling in the lobby on the way to the doors -- he should have described himself or something, sometimes communication via the journals was an absolute pain in the ass.

So he just tips his head at Frodo, a half-greeting as he pauses. ]

[ The man catches his eye, even if the head-tipping doesn't instantly register. He ventures a few steps closer and a smile though. ]

Hullo. I'm Frodo.

[ Oh. He recognizes the name and his expression reflects that. He lifts a hand, then, in a more solid greeting. ]

Hey. It's Lee - Clementine's -

[ ????? Why is this still so hard?? ]

You need help getting around, or are you okay, Lee? [Because she always checks up on her students. Makes sure everyone is still alive and well.]

[Sometimes Chell gets stir-crazy. And she thinks Lee's got a nice voice, and sounds friendly, if as unsure as she does sometimes. And besides, she's in the kitchen anyhow. But you'd be able to hear her footsteps long before she got here, what with the springs on the heels of her boots. But she pops into the lobby, munching on an apple.]

Would you mind if I come too? I get stir-crazy sometimes, and you seem nice.

[Digging into her pocket, she offers him an apple too. why not? It's nice to share your snack with potential new friends.]

[ The offer of food catches him off guard, by why not? Lee just chuckles softly and nods, reaching forward to take the apple. ]

Glad you think so. No, I don't mind at all.

[silentrunning]

[She's eaten her own apple down to the core, and is actually eating it core and all. She really doesn't like wasting food. After all, after Aperture Science Sustenance Pellets, an apple core tastes like heaven.]

So, where would you like to go? I know town pretty well...

[And then she puts her palm to her forehead, realizing.]

I ... don't think I ever actually introduced myself, though I think I wrote you a message over the journals once. My name's Chell.

[ That's a little odd - he's never seen someone consume the core of an apple, too - but he tips his head in a little nod at her. ]

Remember the name. Nice to meet you, Chell. And maybe you could just give me a tour? I've walked it before, but I've never payed close attention.
