Good Morning, and please excuse the interruption. I'm the Doctor and I have a small announcement in regards to Aradia Megido. It seems that she is suffering from a loss, one that has done the rounds before I fear to other residents. She's currently in the form of a soft doll (I believe the term is a 'plushie') and the Castle saw fit to send her to me.
Rest assured that she is safe and will be well looked after until such a time that she is able to say so herself.
Thank you for your time.

Well, I guess what I was going to talk to her about can wait then.
[a pause]
Hey, can I ask you something?

Of course you may. You're-- That's Church, isn't it?

Hey, York told me you're from like, way in the future. Are you any good with computers?

I eventually need to copy and move a program from one uh, thing to another... thing.

Projects. Can't beat a good project. ...All right. Well, all you need is a storage medium - Dat-drive, portable storage, data-cubes, or frelisium cable sets even for a direct transfer, and then-
Actually, no, forgive me, Church, I'm going to say it, that's rather a limited amount of information and the procedure is usually annoyingly simple. Just how big is the program?

[He sighs]
Look, I would ask this, but York thinks you're trustworthy... and I don't really have any other options. So, if you need to come take a look at what I'm talking about then... well, it might give you a better idea of what I need help with.
[Church has trust issues, but he generally thinks of York as a friend and he supposes he trusts him... in as much as he trusts anyone.]

Like, inanimate and everything.

Well, taking a look would certainly dispel some questions, I'm sure. I can't help but notice that you seem a little reticent; if discretion is what you require, I can guard that and I'd be more than happy to help a friend of York's. I'm free now, if you would like to meet.

Vriska Serket! Pretty much the best troll here, of course.

Your sixth time through Paradisa? That's... Hmm. Interesting. Timeline management, now that's a funny thing. I tend to do a little of that myself, occasionally.
Pardon me, I've already given the name that most call me, but I didn't catch yours.
The turtle has a toy tank. You're still in the game.
Vr- Vriska. That's a rather interesting and unique name. And as interesting and unique as its owner. I'm very pleased to finally meet you, so to speak.
Aradia is... I think the word fond doesn't quite fit but it would be close, of you.

I don't think so... [rubbish AI is rubbish]

All right, then. I'm on my way.
[Church might hear the sound of a journal closing, but other than that, nothing more until the Doctor makes his arrival known at the door of the tower, sans TARDIS. Certainly he's seen Stark Tower but has never been invited in before, so here he is waiting to greet Church.]

Hey Doc...er Doctor, thanks for coming.
no subject
Not at all, and thank you for inviting me. It's good to finally meet you, properly. You said you have access to a workshop, but is this where you live also?
no subject
Stark left it to someone I know and they let me stay here when I don't want to be around the castle.
[He'll lead the Doctor to the elevator in the back and then bring them up to the fifth floor. The entire floor is devoted to what was once Tony Stark's private workshop.]
no subject
I can definitely understand not wanting to be cooped up in the castle. Not always a healthy environment. I say, this place really is remarkable. What did you have to show me?
no subject
So I uh, I'm actually a ghost and this body is a robot that I'm possessing.
[He's just going to let that sink in for a few seconds before moving along.]
The guy who built it left me the blueprints and with the help of JARVIS here I can build another one... But I can't actually get it to work without the computer programming.
I need to know if you can copy the programming in this body and I don't know... paste it, into the other one.
no subject
He has heard and seen stranger things. But still. That's certainly a revelation, isn't it? He rummages around in a pocket, pulls out a cube, looks at it, looks at Church, and then his voice is quite deadpan.]
I think we're going to need a bigger data-cube.
[All business, pointing at Church, now.] The program can certainly be copied I should imagine, but the specifications of the new, er, body, those may have to be taken into account. Operating Systems and hardware don't always play nice. The body to be built, will you be making it to the same template as the blueprints exactly? And JARVIS, who is that, may I ask?
no subject
Anyway, I'm Dave.
no subject
I'm pleased to meet you, Dave. Can I ask, what do you mean by 'sessions'?
no subject
So how much did Aradia tell you about where we're from? 'Cause I'm just saying, dude, it's kind of overcomplicated and filled right up to the brim with horseshit not even the most seasoned of time travelers have got time for. The combination makes the horseshit straight up rank, to be honest.
no subject
[Did he really just get called dude?] Paradisa must like having you around. Something we have in common. Let's see, if we count all of me... I've been through here at least seven times in one iteration or another. Sometimes twice or three times. [No, Dave, that's not a mistake.]
She told me a little. Why don't you try me and let me decide for myself if it is nonsense?
no subject
[He...guesses that makes sense? Whatever, you just gotta go with it sometimes.]
But I'm talking about game sessions. Aradia played temporal janitor for a bunch of horny toolbags, while I got to handle the chronological upkeep for my friends. Human friends, for the record, since that's a clarification that apparently needs to be made.
no subject
[Horny toolbags... ? Bags with horns? What a strange vernacular.] Maid of time, that's Aradia. Something sounds familiar... [Something he recalls about scratching the session, but that's not from Aradia.] Game sessions, like a... A simulation? You're a human?
