Good Morning, and please excuse the interruption. I'm the Doctor and I have a small announcement in regards to Aradia Megido. It seems that she is suffering from a loss, one that has done the rounds before I fear to other residents. She's currently in the form of a soft doll (I believe the term is a 'plushie') and the Castle saw fit to send her to me.

Rest assured that she is safe and will be well looked after until such a time that she is able to say so herself.

Hello again, Church. It's been a while. I have a degree of success with computer equipment and technology, yes. What seems to be the trouble?

Oh well, there isn't any trouble really... it's just a thing I'm working on.
I eventually need to copy and move a program from one uh, thing to another... thing.

[That's vague, if you like. Cue pausing from the Doctor.]

Projects. Can't beat a good project. ...All right. Well, all you need is a storage medium - Dat-drive, portable storage, data-cubes, or frelisium cable sets even for a direct transfer, and then-

Actually, no, forgive me, Church, I'm going to say it, that's rather a limited amount of information and the procedure is usually annoyingly simple. Just how big is the program?

Uh well... that's the thing. I don't know.

Ah. The size of the program will normally dictate the medium used to transfer it. What are we talking in relative terms of advancement in technology? Or to phrase that another way, what time period is the technology you'll be using, from?

It's from another universe than mine and I think from the future too.

[He sighs]

Look, I would ask this, but York thinks you're trustworthy... and I don't really have any other options. So, if you need to come take a look at what I'm talking about then... well, it might give you a better idea of what I need help with.

[Church has trust issues, but he generally thinks of York as a friend and he supposes he trusts him... in as much as he trusts anyone.]

[That brings him to pause for a moment.] York is a good man. The trust is very mutual.

Well, taking a look would certainly dispel some questions, I'm sure. I can't help but notice that you seem a little reticent; if discretion is what you require, I can guard that and I'd be more than happy to help a friend of York's. I'm free now, if you would like to meet.

Yeah, why not. Do you know the town at all? I have access to a workshop there.

Of course, I know the town well. If you're specific with a direction I can meet you there in what, say twenty minutes, Church? Is there anything you can think of that I might need to bring with me?

I'm in Stark Tower, you can't miss it. [being the one giant building in town]

Ah, I know the place, yes. [And he nods anyway.] I'll see what I have with me in the way of storage-mediums. Either way, I'm sure that will be handy for your needs. I'll see you shortly, then Church. Although I do have one more question: how will I recognise you?

All right, then. I'm on my way.

[Church might hear the sound of a journal closing, but other than that, nothing more until the Doctor makes his arrival known at the door of the tower, sans TARDIS. Certainly he's seen Stark Tower but has never been invited in before, so here he is waiting to greet Church.]

[Church makes his way to the door and lets the Doctor in. The main hall is pretty elaborately decorated, including a large monogrammed S in mosaic on the floor.]

Hey Doc...er Doctor, thanks for coming.

[Well done, Church. You've already gained points just on the name correction, and the Doctor gives a wide smile back. Inside the main hall he twists and turns this way and that, looking around at the floor, the ceiling, practically everywhere and taking the grandness in.]

Not at all, and thank you for inviting me. It's good to finally meet you, properly. You said you have access to a workshop, but is this where you live also?

Yeah, part of the time anyway. [shrug]

Stark left it to someone I know and they let me stay here when I don't want to be around the castle.

[He'll lead the Doctor to the elevator in the back and then bring them up to the fifth floor. The entire floor is devoted to what was once Tony Stark's private workshop.]

[And off he goes with Church to the fifth floor, looking around in awe at the open workshop when he walks in.]

I can definitely understand not wanting to be cooped up in the castle. Not always a healthy environment. I say, this place really is remarkable. What did you have to show me?

Uh, well... me. I mean, kind of me...

So I uh, I'm actually a ghost and this body is a robot that I'm possessing.

[He's just going to let that sink in for a few seconds before moving along.]

The guy who built it left me the blueprints and with the help of JARVIS here I can build another one... But I can't actually get it to work without the computer programming.

I need to know if you can copy the programming in this body and I don't know... paste it, into the other one.

[He's still all eyes looking around when Church speaks, but he is listening and then he's, well, just kind of studying you, Church. What and what?

He has heard and seen stranger things. But still. That's certainly a revelation, isn't it? He rummages around in a pocket, pulls out a cube, looks at it, looks at Church, and then his voice is quite deadpan.]

I think we're going to need a bigger data-cube.

[All business, pointing at Church, now.] The program can certainly be copied I should imagine, but the specifications of the new, er, body, those may have to be taken into account. Operating Systems and hardware don't always play nice. The body to be built, will you be making it to the same template as the blueprints exactly? And JARVIS, who is that, may I ask?

She seriously got turned into a doll.

Hello. I'm afraid so, yes. A little worrying, but it's not the first time I've heard of this happening. Rest assured she's as safe as can be in the meantime. Seeing you took the time to speak up, you're one of her friends, then?

Yeah, I guess. I mean, I don't know her that well, but this is apparently the sixth time I've been through, so she knew past mes. And both of us did timeline management for our sessions.

[Well, that gets a raised eyebrow, young man.]

The castle can be fickle like that. I doubt very much it's a Time thing. I'm a Time Lord myself, not that that castle minds one iota of anyone's mastery of it. In the meantime, let me guess. You've been listening to Hard Harry with such a colourful description.

So how much did Aradia tell you about where we're from? 'Cause I'm just saying, dude, it's kind of overcomplicated and filled right up to the brim with horseshit not even the most seasoned of time travelers have got time for. The combination makes the horseshit straight up rank, to be honest.
