Open Post: Gryffindor and Ravenclaw
Gryffindor
[your common room is hidden behind the portrait of the Fat Lady. She will only open for you if you give the password. Once inside, you will get to hang out with lots of comfortable seats and a cheerful fire. The colors are in gold and red, all very warm and welcoming.
If any Gryffindors have issues, your Head of House will be around to help you!]
Ravenclaw
[your common room is up in a tower. An eagle doorknocker will only let you inside if you answer a riddle. The colors here are a cool blue. It can be a bit chilly because of being so high]
[Gryffindor | Ravenclaw feel free to make your own sections, too!]

I suppose... I think it is done with these sticks?
[He took the long oak wand out of his robe where it had been tucked away. It really looked completely unassuming and frankly he was not at all impressed or sure how it helped with magic, but something said it was what one used. ]

Oh. A wand then. I've read about them, in my books, but I had not thought I would ever actually use one. Well, if I can use one...
[ Of course he can, but he's not willing to explore that immediately with others nearby. ]

I suppose so, but a strange school it is. Though, I admit, I like the view from the window. Its pastoral. And as I understood it, I have "classes" today. Rather novel, since I haven't had a tutor for anything in... well, over two centuries.

[ He laughed at that. ]
Well, much of what I learned I had to keep in constant practice, so it is not terribly hazy, even now. Do you think this place might have a library? There should be more information on this 'school' and our wands no doubt, and whatever magic we are meant to use now.
