[ the forbidden forest it may be called, but arya could find little reason for it to be forbidden. she could not see anything that really merited the moniker. she pictured strangling vines, carnivorous flowers, distant screams of animals. what she found was quite tame in comparison.ota; dictated; action for the owlery;
but even if it had had all what she had imagined, she would go inside regardless. the direwolves were in there.
no one had stopped her today when she tried to walk out in normal clothes so there's no heavy robe to snag on a root or bushes. the clothes are all earth clothes, but they're comfortable and good to move in. she grins up at robb as they walk into the shade. it almost feels like being back north, in the wolfswood, where she was never allowed to join the boys, though bran could even if he was younger and weaker and not as good a rider. having aemon and northern son would make it better, but she doesn't mind walking. less so when she's with her brother. ]
Will you go with me to the pitch tomorrow? You can help me practice. I'm really good at it, did you see?
[ she knows he did. but arya hasn't yet tired of hearing robb tell her he was proud of her. she doesn't think she ever shall. ]
[ the soft sounds of cooing and rustling wings float through the air. seated on the steps to the owlery, arya strokes winter's glossy feathers. though she has her journal open in front of her, arya watches the darkening evening sky. when she speaks, it sounds almost like she's thinking out loud. ]
Where did everyone go today? Why did some have to stay behind?

[ early morning and arya is ensconced in a corner of one of the rarely used herbology labs. she ignores the whispering plants and focuses on the papers spread in front of her. she waves her wand over them, muttering furiously under her breath. when nothing happens, she swears. loudly. and very creatively. ]

[ at the question, she shrugs. ]
It's good, I guess. I'm not allowed in any of the good classes. I'm supposed to write six inches on a magical place? Except I don't know any. I couldn't even go out with everyone else! But my brother stayed with me and we got to explore the forest.
Quibbitch is fun.
[ she got to clobber people with bats. yes, she literally took the beater's bat to someone's face because no one told her that's not allowed. reasons slytherin won so neatly. ]

And if you're talking about Hogsmeade, only third years and up are allowed to visit the village, unfortunately. I went earlier today and Sirius bought me four packs of extra-dark chocolate from Honeydukes. [ There's a rather pleased smile on his face, as though he's rather glad he now has a significant other that is more than willing to supply his nearly unhealthy addiction to dark chocolate. He is not adverse to sharing if you ask, either, Arya! ]
I saw you at the match. You're quite good at it.

It's not fair. I want to go! I want chocolate.
no subject
Here. It's a bit bitter, but it's the finest chocolate in all of the UK.

All of it? For true?
no subject
Of course. I have three other bars of the stuff. That's more than enough for me.

Thank you.
[ she unwraps it and breaks off a piece. half of it she gives to remus. ]
That one's for you.
no subject
You're welcome.
[ He's a little surprised when she offers him a piece, having not expected it. He definitely isn't one to refuse, though, so he takes it from her with a grin. ]
You didn't have to, but thanks, Arya.

Arya is a very good friend, however, so he'll let her in on a few secrets. ]
I know of a fair few. You know that map I've been making at Paradisa?

This one is a map of Hogwarts. Affectionately known as the Marauder's Map. Go ahead and tap your wand on it and say, "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."

[ despite how funny it sounds, she takes out her words and repeats what he says. she starts when the map begins to appear. the sudden motion upsets winter who caws again. ]
--It's the castle!
no subject
Indeed it is. It shows you the entire castle, including certain secret passageways that lead outside of the castle. This one here --
[ He taps at one in particular. ]
-- leads to the Honeydukes' cellar in Hogsmeade.

Can we go?! I'll be quiet as a shadow!
no subject
I don't see why not. We'll have to be very, very careful to avoid being caught, however.

[ she lets the raven return to her perch and all but jumps down the stairs. ]
Come on, Remus!

Alright, alright!

The others said the same thing. I'm simply quiet about it. It wouldn't look too good if a prefect was caught setting off dungbombs in the Great Hall, now would it?

And just a heads up, at the end of the week, refrain from opening up your journal at any point during the day. Lest you want a dungbomb in the face.
[ He doesn't want Arya to be a victim of a school-wide prank the Marauder's are orchestrating, so it's best that he alerts her now. ]
