My apologies for the slight delay. I had a few things to put together and I wanted to do this all in one shot, as it were.

[After scrawling that message in the journal, he leaves Chimera HQ with a wooden box in his hands. The top is open, and a piece of cloth is draped across is, concealing the contents from view. He handles it carefully as he walks. It had taken several months of assembly and experimentation to get this to work correctly, and sadly the trip to Paris, as welcome as it had turned out to be, had delayed his progress quite a bit. But it was finished at last, and he could finally deliver it.

Hopefully he'd make it to his room without incident]

[once he gets to the room, Felix gingerly places the box on the kitchen table, then reaches into the top, keeping the object in question still draped in the cloth as he pulls it out and sets it there. It's easier to see, now, that is appears to be shaped like a globe, like a crystal ball. He worries at the cloth for a moment to be sure it's covering everything, then sets the box aside and waits]

((OOC: So, here it is, late like so many others. I think I got everyone on the meme, but feel free to ask if you think he should have sent your character something and I forgot you.  Everyone else, feel free to ambush him between Gaudium tower and his room! :D))

[Felix grinned and held a hand out to Ashura]

Hello darling.

_{[He beamed, taking the hand and coming closer, leaning in to kiss him.]}

Glad to see you made it through the day in one piece.

[Felix smirked, sliding a hand around Ashura's back]

I have something for you.

[He nodded at the object on the table. He wasn't in the mood for stalling. He'd been at this far too long to wait any longer]

And the day just got better.

_{[He grins, following him along, his own arm sliding around him.]}

[He points to the covered globe on the table]

Merry exceedingly belated Christmas, darling.

_{[He blinks and goes to the globe, tugging off the sheet and gasping at what he sees. He suddenly feels like his ring was shoddy in comparison.]}

It's beautiful...

[Suspended inside the clear glass globe was a floating light, much like Felix's witchlights, though this one was a fiery red and shaped much like a rose. It cast a faint reddish glow on the nearby walls.

He smiled and reached out to brush his fingers over the glass. As if reacting to his touch, the flower glowed even brighter nearest his fingers, like a fire kindling with a breeze]

It's a bit of an experiment. I'll have to re-charge it like this every so often, but as long as the glass stays intact, it will stay this way.

It's magnificent, love!

_{[He gazes at it raptly and then turns to his fiance, kissing him deeply.]}

It is the best gift I have ever gotten, next to the ring you gave me.

[He kissed back, pulling the other close]

It's probably nothing like the flowers you told me about...

[He laughed breathily at his own nerves at simply embraced his fiancee]

I'm glad you like it.

It is enough like them.

<sub>[He hugged him tightly, pressing his face into his neck and breathing, so very grateful that the gods had been kind and brought him to this man before it was to late to know the joy of his love.

He turned back to his gift, lifting it up and examining like a child with a bright new toy.]</sub>

I think I shall put it on my vanity. I can see it from the bed, and I can look at it closely every morning when I get up and get ready for the day.

[Felix was secretly proud of himself. Standing enchantments weren't exactly a common outside of the Virtu and the Miradors wards and well...that was a whole different game. Something like this might never have occurred to him had he never come to Paradisa and seen what others did with magic]

That's an excellent idea.

_{[He gazed at it lovingly, picking it up gingerly and looking at Felix, the soft red light coating his face. He turned and hurried to the bedroom, looking around and finally setting it up at what he thought was the perfect spot. He nodded to himself, stroking the case before he came back out.]}

Pride of place, as it should have.

[Felix smiled]

Which naturally would be your vanity.

It not as if being this beautiful just happens, darling.

<sub>[Oh, you were getting to him Felix, you were - you see the things he says because of it?

All the same he gives you kisses because he loves you and they are engaged and you really are a wonderful fiance when you put your mind to it.]</sub>

[He has his moments. Some of those moments will be getting on your nerves, but this is what you've gotten yourself into.

He kisses back softly, smiling.]

_{[He smirks, enjoying the soft kisses, humming against his mouth as he practically melts against him, more than happy to lay with him.]}

I agree every time I look at you.

[He runs his fingers through his fiancees hair, herding him back towards the bedroom with a grin]

_{[He let out a lush giggle, a sound only Felix would get to hear as he let his usual courtly manners slip in the presence of the red head when they were alone.]}

I do so love it when your tongue turns silver, love.

[A devious glint appears in his eyes at that sound, his hands already working at the fastenings of Ashura's robes]

I do hope that's not the only thing my tongue can do to please you...

Shall we find out then? You know what my standards are like.

_{[He smirks, tugging him in and shutting the door to their bed chamber~]}

I have an idea.

[He purred happily and pulled the outer layer of Ashura's robes free, letting them fall in a pool at their feet as he suckled gently up the line of his lovers neck]

<sub>[He let out a soft sound of pleasure, letting his lover do as he wished, looking over at the glowing lantern and smiling in the dimness of their room.

His own hands coming up to slip his jacket and shirt from him.]</sub>

Oh my, very talented ~

And very eager. The red light looks good on you.

[He obediently helps to shrug out of the clothing in question, lightly kissing the shell of Ashura's ear as he speaks]

_{[He shivered, Felix well aware of what touching his ears did to him.]}
