[Danny was lost again.  He could remember being so happy as a full ghost. He'd had friends and things to do and a afterlife that he enjoyed. He hadn't had any of the doubts that constantly weighed him down as a half ghost.

He'd been free.

And there was a small part of him that wanted nothing more than to go back to that. What was wrong with him?

He was still half-human, right?  How could he have been so happy as a ghost?]

Yeah, so... Week stuck in magic school as a full ghost.  Just another happy therapy inducing memory, courtesy of the castle.

Because they'd say that that's just what an evil ghost would want them to think. You don't understand. they hate ghosts. They think ghosts are evil and manipulative and always, always, lie. If they through they were saving me...

[She's quiet a moment, surprised and angry at the similarity to something on her world, and her protective nature rears its head.]

Danny...While you're here, you can turn into a ghost at any time, right?

Um, yeah? Except when the castle pulls something. Or in the dead zone.

Um, sort of? I guess I'm not unhappy. I mean, it really sucks being grounded, but I can deal.

Yeah, I can understand not liking your powers being gone, but unfortunately, this place likes to do that.

But, whether you're Danny as a human or ghost with your powers, or Danny without your powers, you're still you at your core.

And that's what counts.

[And she thinks his parents may actually realize that one day.]
