[Percy reads aloud from the card he found while in the wizard world]

"Circe was an ancient Greek who lived on the island of ... Aeaea? and was an expert at turning lost sailors into pigs."

Okay, I get that she would be considered "famous" for that, but this doesn't look anything like her.

I got stuck on her island once. She turned me into a guniea pig.

... Wait, are you telling me that she's a real person, and she turned you into an animal?

Yep. She did the same thing to a bunch of pirates, too.

...Why would she do that? What is the point into turning you into guinea pigs?

She said it was more manageable than a pig, and she could ship us off to classrooms.

It's really not that different from Paradisa.

It's a crazy magic castle that does weird stuff. Anything beyond that is for the brainiacs to figure out.

... have I ever mentioned how awesome it is that you and I are on the same wavelength, Percy? [Because it really is great to have a friend who sees things the same way she does.]

It is pretty awesome. [he fell in love with a brainiac, but he knows he will never be one, so he's more than happy to let them do all the hard thinking]

Hey, I forgot: you were flying really well during the Hogwarts thing. Your team fought dirty, but you were good anyway.

[She grinned at the journal, before looking up to the sky.]

Thanks ... I was kind of pissed at them for that. I think if they were concentrated on the game, we could have had a chance.

Maybe they'll learn something from that. It was still pretty cool to watch. Too bad it being in the air, though.

I know ... I wi - [She stopped herself before she almost stated 'wished they had flying broomsticks here', glowering at herself.] Yeah, it was cool.

The closest I get is when I ride my black pegasus Blackjack. I think that's sort of neutral because pegasi are sort of horses.

You own a pegasus? That's a ... flying horse, right?

I don't own him, he just decided that he liked me and followed me around.

Still ... that you're friends with a flying horse? Definitely coolest friend I've ever gotten.

He's pretty cool. So's Alcaeus, of course, but I won't get to see him when I go home.

Who is Alcaeus, and why won't you get to see him?

He's my Pokemon friend, the thing that looks like a squid living in the duck pond. And... you know, he's not from my world.

Yep, pretty much. You missed out on seeing my dog, but you might get to meet my friends or my brother one day.

You have a brother? [She wouldn't be surprised about Percy has friends, but a brother?]

Well, yeah. My dad's a god so I have lots of siblings. But Tyson's the one I'm closest with.

Is he ... is he alive, back home?

Last I saw him, yeah. [he killed another of his half-siblings, but he's not mentioning that] Tyson's awesome. I bet you'd like him.

[She let out a quiet sigh of relief. Thank god for that.] Oh, I'm sure I would. he's your brother, after all.

Not all of my brothers are great. Some are real jerks. I think Tyson's more humble because he lived alone... And me, I had my mom to keep me grounded.

I've got that card. Do you collect them too?

Not really. It's just that I always pick up something from the world changes, and that card reminded me of home.

You have Circe at home? You must be from the past. [Like Hermione was from the future.]

No... She's just a part of my world.

These other worlds are confusing me. Did you met her?

Oh, yeah, I met her. She was doing ginea pigs, but it was more or less the same shtick.

Guinea pigs? I suppose if she was working smaller it would be harder to detect.
