DWN 012 - Quick [Action]

[If anyone were to come into the lobby this morning, they'd find the entire room has been rearranged by a certain machine. To be honest, Blues was bored and decided he wanted to make a race track for a few remote control cars he had built a few months back.

Why didn't he just do it outside? Because he doesn't really care if he's getting in anyone's way, that's why.

He's rearranged all the furniture to serve as obstacles for the cars, and he has even set up a few homemade ramps and jumps to make things a bit more interesting.

Blues is standing in the middle of the lobby, racing a car through the course he had set up to test it out. Feel free to bother him or join in, there's a few more cars and remotes laying on one of the couches.]

[Chie just got back from the castle's gym, looking pretty fresh after a post-workout shower. With her hands in her pockets she heads back to her room to deposit her gym bag, but she needs to go through the lobby in order to do that. When she turned to a corner, her eyes widened a bit at the sight]

Whoa! What the- Did you make this?

Yeah, What about it? I was bored.

[He seems pretty pleased with himself for the moment, only paying about half attention to Chie as he sends the remote control car off a jump.]

Don't you think you've gone a liiittle too far with it? I mean... [Chie looks down at the track] You took up the whole place!

[whistles_the_blues]

Not really. I just made good use of the space I had available. I didn't block any doors, people can still get around.

[They just have to not get in the way of his car.]

Yeah, but... Couldn't you have done this outside? It's a good day out too!

[whistles_the_blues]

...It would have taken longer to set up if I had to lug the chairs and couches out there too.

There's other things you could use. You could wish for some too...

True, but there were right here and worked well with what I had in mind.

Why wish for what's already here?

Because it won't clog the way to the rest of the castle? Plus, it'd be nice to the other residents?

Hey, Blues. [Tim waves at Blues as he approaches him, eyeing the remote control cars.]

Have a spare one?

[He'll take his eyes off his own car for a moment and point to a few more cars and remotes sitting on the couch nearby. One of them looks like it had been crushed under someones' foot, but the rest were perfectly fine.]

There's a few right there.

[Studies the crushed one for a few moments, before shifting his attention to the rest of them. Thanks to all of the tinkering around he's done in Blues lab, he knows the ins and outs of the cars. They are capable of a lot more than people would likely give them credit for.]

I think I'll go with this one. [Swipes up a red colored car.]

[Red, Really Tim? That's original. Blues is currently using a white one with some red details on it, because he's super original too. He'll finish doing the loop he was currently on before bringing his car to a start.]

Up for a race? You can go a couple times through it to comfortable if you want.

[Don't judge him, he misses his car from his world :(]

Sure. Give me a couple of minutes and I'll be good to go. I've raced them before, I'm just a little rusty.

I figured. Take your time, the track isn't going anywhere.

[While Tim practices, Blues is going to go and adjust the ramps and chairs he's moved around just slightly. He might have bumped them around a few times when he was testing out the track. The track has to be perfect for the race.]

Need any help? [Glances away from the toy race car and over at Blues.]

Should be just fine. Don't want to get in the way of your practice time.

[He's pretty strong for a little guy, look at him move that couch over on his own effortlessly.]

[Okay here comes the pain in the ass remar- Wait. He likes it? Do they actually have common ground here? This is suspicious.] [He's already had to deal with Chie doing that today.]

[He'll choose to not point out that there are a few extra cars on the couch behind him. Well a few extra and one crushed car thanks to Chie.]

Though he'll actually grab a remote and car and hand them over to you. This should be good.]
