Trial 13: Social Link... Go?

[Chie's been keeping to herself ever since everyone has gotten back from Hogwarts. She stayed away from listening in the journal as much as possible, to not distract herself from training. World changes seem to be getting closer in between, so she needs to get ready for the next one! Even though nothing bad happened in Hogwarts, it's better be safe than sorry.

But today is different, all that repetition got boring and she needs a day to relax and be herself. Rest is also important to development after all! Chie picks up her journal and speaks]

Yo, Paradisa! How are you all doing? Anyone of you free for the rest of the day? I'm pretty bored and I've done nothing but train all week since we got back so I need a day to rest. But I can still do stuff if anyone is up for it!

I was thinking about doing some shopping in the village, want to come with me? We could meet in the lobby.

Sure thing! I'll be there in a sec.

[Chie got down to the lobby in a span of a few minutes, just changing to a more presentable t-shirt than what she had on before]

[Kate smiles when she sees Chie and throws her arm around Chie's shoulders when she's close enough.]

Hey you. How have you been?

[Chie gives Kate a hug upon meeting her face-to-face again]

Been around. Mostly dedicating my free time to training myself.

What kind of training are you working on?

Ashura-san is teaching me how to use a sword but with a stick first of course. Other than that I've just been working on my conditioning. Running, and doing body-weight exercises!

That's a good way to keep fit. If you want company, just let me know. I'll run with you if you want.

[Chie's face lit up at that. It would be great to have a running partner, and someone she admires too!]

Really?! Yes! I would love that. I'd show you the trail I discovered. It leads to a waterfall in the woods!

Absolutely! That sounds great. Is there anywhere in particular in the village you need to go? I was thinking about maybe getting some new clothes.

[Chie looked at her own shirt. She only wished for her own wardrobe from back home, and only been buying accessories and one skirt she's a little unsure to wear all this time. Maybe some new clothes would be great]

I wouldn't mind that! I could use some more clothes to fill up my closet space. My room got bigger!

Hmm, maybe I should wish for a bigger room. We'll see about that after this trip.

What kind of clothes are you looking for?

You should, it's fun to have a bigger room. I've always wanted one but my dad couldn't afford a big house.

Uhm, I don't really know. I've been getting more casual ones. The only formal one I have was the one you suggested for the ball.

You could get some cute skirts with matching tops. Nothing too frilly, but coordinating and fun. And we can have some fun trying on outfits.

Okay. I wouldn't mind expanding my collection of miniskirts actually! I got a ton of space for clothes in my room, so I might as well use it.

[She keeps her weapons in her walk-in closet]

Oh yeah, is it okay if I bring my gun? I have it with me right now, I thought I could take it with me since I'm with you! I already feel like a police officer!

[Kate glances over at her, a tiny bit concerned.]

Have you taken the necessary safety precautions? Safety on, holstered correctly, all of that?

[Chie nods proudly. She retains things she's interested in quite well, so remembering safety precautions are easy for her]

Yup! I always double-check when I bring it with me.

Then fine by me. You never know what can happen in this place. It's a good idea to be prepared.

That's what I thought too, especially since the world changes have been happening a lot lately, I wanted to be sure I have something that would help me compensate the loss of my Persona...

Did that happen last time? You lost your Persona?

It happened all the time... Except for that time in that island with dinosaurs. My Persona came back after that weird noise...

[Kate shivers thinking about the dinosaurs. She's very happy to pretend that never happened.]

That must be a scary feeling, not being able to use your Persona when you need it.

[Chie looked down, with a solemn expression on her face when the memories of her almost dying swam back to her conscious mind]

Y-yeah... It was.

[But she shrugged it off and forced to smiled again]

But hey, it's over now. I'm glad I made it out of there. It's kind of an ego boost, almost.

I survived a place with meat-eating dinosaurs! That sounds kinda tough, isn't it?

[She knows she only survived out of dumb luck, but if it would help her cope with having been there, she'll take it]
