If anyone's bored, I'm going to be setting some fireworks off on the roof of the Impetus Tower in about ten minutes.

[Yup. Souji was just thinking it's been a while since he's seen fireworks, and then he remembered, it's Paradisa. If he wants fireworks, he can damn well set off as many as he wants to, when he wants to. You know, as long as it doesn't bug people or anything.]

I wished up a big pile. Plenty to go around.

I used to think that way, too. Most of the radio stuff I did back home was anonymous ... I kept my head down, didn't want to get in anyone's way or get noticed ...

[he cracks open a can of soda]

But once what I was sayin' started to get around, there wasn't any way for me to run from it, and I had to get used to makin' waves or just give up. ... It was too important to give up.

You're on the radio back home? That's interesting.

[Listenin' in on the rest of what he has to say, though, leaves Souji deep in thinking thought.]

I guess, I'm bound to do something a little less... high profile. Probably something in middle management.

I am here, too. But most people just hear it over the journals 'cuz they forget we even have a radio tower. [he points to it, over on one corner of the roof, sticking out a bit like a sore thumb. it's not very ostentatious or large, but it's still there]

... Middle management? Really? That sounds a little ... I mean ... Not to jerk your chain or anything, but don't you have any big dreams? Stuff you've always wanted to do?

Does it only get the one station?

...Not really. Well, I guess you can call a average, normal life kind of a big dream, in these times. You know what I mean?
