Obviously the idiot I was talking to doesn't much care for that though.

Even now the idea of another Lara Croft is still too much to take. But he shares her thirst for adventure, so she might as well respond and tell him what she knows from her little trip to the DZ]

If you're going to bring guns. You're going to need a truck's worth of ammunition.

I was a Royal Marine. I know how to fight with a knife, though. Probably relying on that.

[She's unsure what to think of that. A good knife-fighter can take down enemies larger than they are, but that only applied to humans. Those Collectors may be humanoid, but their anatomy is still different]

Good luck. Some of the creatures out there would be too tough to take down with a knife.
