056 - PREMONITION
[Right on the heels of that mysterious broadcast Phoebe hastily dictates into her journal]
Did anyone else hear that? I've never heard his voice before, does anyone know who he is?
[Her hand is reaching for her radio as she speaks]
It's so weird, I didn't think anyone else co-
[Her words cut off in a sharp gasp as her fingers take hold of the device and the premonition slams into her mind. Her grip tightens as her eyes snap shut, images floating behind her eyelids. The whole thing takes less than a minute but it leaves her breathless as she comes back to herself. She takes a shakey breath, looking down at the radio for a moment as she processes what she just saw. Setting it down she takes up her pen and writes in a filter in a shakey hand]
[Filtered AWAY from anyone who would use this for harm or share it with anyone who would do so. Filtered AWAY from first gens EXCEPT Damsel, Reno, Flora and the man who just spoke through the radio.]
[Her voice is a little unsteady as she speaks]
I just had a premonition... a group of people. Twenty, maybe thirty of them. I've never seen them before but some of them looked like they were hurt. They're all looking up at the sky like they're afraid of something up there. [She pauses to take a breath] They're in one of those western towns in the Dead Zone. I think the man who just spoke to us is telling the truth. A group of us should go out there and see if we can help these people.

I guess we'll see what happens. I get the feeling I'm going to have to live without them at some point anyway, but I'm sure I can still hold my own in a fight. Should we meed somewhere?

I don't know if you've noticed yet but getting a group of people in this castle to do anything together can be harder than herding cats.

That's what I meant, meet somewhere to plan and organize, of course. Just let me know when you need me, and if I can do anything in the mean time.

If you want to come you should pack a bag with a little bit of everything clothes-wise. Dress for warm weather but bring a pair of jeans and a jacket or something just in case. There's sometimes water we have to move through so make sure you have boots and dry clothes. Bring non perishable food if you think you'll be able to carry it but I know at least one person will have a wagon so they'll be able to bring more supplies that way, too. If you can ride a horse you can check and see if there are any unclaimed ones in the stable or if anyone will let you borrow theirs if you want. It's not too too far to where he is but I know some people prefer that to walking.
[She thinks for a moment]
Overall just bring anything you think you'd need that you know you can carry. It's cliche but expect the unexpected. [she pauses] I'd also suggest bringing a weapon. Tech doesn't work out there but regular guns use gunpowder and a spark so they work. They're not my thing but I know a lot of people prefer them.

[Meg grabs a piece of paper and jots down Phoebe's advice as she listens intently.]

You're welcome. For the weapons I suggest you check out the shooting range or the armory at the gym. The castle doesn't let us wish for anything that might hurt people so we can't get weapons that way. Worse comes to worse you can just do a shout out and see if anyone has anything you can use.
