I'm sure you've all heard the radio broadcast by now, and have seen that people are talking about going to help. Fairfield and Winchester are towns that were once "world changes", when the castle was imitating the 1800s of the United States. What most will know better as the Wild West era. They are now locations on the map of Nostos, not far from our castle.

I know people are eager to help, but remember it's important to keep a defending force here in Paradisa as well. I'm volunteering for that force, as I have experience in magical combat and know a number of protective and offensive spells. I'm hoping others will join me.

For those who can't fight, there are a number of safe places you can go in case of emergencies. One of the best I'm aware of is the karaoke bar Caritas. I know that sounds odd, but the original owner cast a spell over it that protects it from attack. Also, the owner is my adopted brother-in-law and is a powerful figher in his own right.

I'm staying. Someone to help with aim would be helpful, but at worst, I have area spells.

What sort of area spells?

Offensive. Meteor Storm and Holy Rain have a large area, and they are randomized with the fall. Normal lines of the formula prevent lasting damage to plants or the ground, as well as allies should I have marked them prior. There are another... three that I know that are smaller area but still... area.

Erm... wait. So is it possible you could accidentally hit an ally?

... Using Meteor Storm for example, it is possible that an ally could be standing where one would fall. In my own experience, an ally would feel like... a large sheet of cobweb was just walked into. An enemy would be floored, at the very least.

Formula - spells - hold a recognition for friend or foe markers. They're not terribly hard to make and stick, to the point where it isn't considered to have a cost in terms of magic.

The purpose of communicating is so we know what areas are being covered, and by what defense. Also, it would be helplful to keep up reports if anyone sees anything another group should know about.
