[Believe it or not, Xena can read. It's a useful skill for a military commander. Still, she's not the type to do a lot of pleasure reading or to painstakingly research things- which is why the sight that may greet library goers today is an unusual one.

Xena sits at a table, still in full armor, reading a book on cylons, with the journal open beside her. She dictates into it as she flips a page in her book.]

So, how common's this mistaken identity thing? I mean, I've gotta couple of look-alikes at home, but this could old real fast.

And how'd that turn out? 'Cause I've got a couple people convinced I'm someone who wants to kill them. Understandably, they don't find my arguments too convincing.

Just annoyingly. The double was someone who looked just like my cap'n....but a lot more stupid.

Not too worried about it, but it's kinda getting on my nerves.

[Well Carolina needs a break from stairs, so she'll be heading into the library for a bit. Spotting her BFF, the pup decides to join her, hopping up onto the table. She offers a bark and a tail wag.]

[What on earth? This is a very weird looking tiny dog, man. But kind of cute. Cue a startled look and eventually a hesitant pat.]

[Carolina shakes her head. Not a guy, Xena! She barks against at the other woman, sitting down perfectly plainly in front of her.]

There's a theory that in every different reality, or universe, it shares the exact same number of people with the exact same appearance, only under different circumstances, some minor, whereas some are completely different in every single way.

If it's true it could get pretty common what with how many different universes people get pulled from in a place like this.

[Ukitake stands near one of the shelves nearby. He closes his book when he hears her question. He looks confused and a touch concerned.]

...You're having a problem with mistaken identity? What kind of problem?

A couple of new arrivals seem convinced I'm someone I'm not. Someone who's tried to kill them, apparently. [Not that she's worried about handling herself, but it is more than a tad annoying.]

I'm sure once they realize it's a misunderstanding, things can be set right again.
