[ Okay, today is the day that Linda tries to make herself use the weird magic journal that is probably something evil and horrible that sucks her soul out at night. Let's do this thing. Just open the book, and think about people, and... ]

How do you guys get used to talking into a book? I feel crazed.

[ There's a long pause. Yeah this is weird. ]

Man, I miss phones. Regular old corded phones. Or the funny ones, like that one shaped like a hamburger. I always wanted one of those.

[ And another long pause. How do I journal. ]

Right. This has officially gone past insane and into awkward.

You know, we have an art gallery in town. You could maybe donate a piece.

Yeah. The girl that runs it, Nora, is super nice. I guess they just remolded the place too, after some earthquake they had here. Not sorry I missed that, to be honest.

Yeah, I heard a little about that. But hey, if there's a gallery then it can't be all bad.

I've only seen a little bit of town. It's kind of wild. A few places have electricity but it's like walking through a whole town full of people fresh out of the local renaissance faire or something.

Yeah, I noticed that. It's not even like a walk through history. Not that it could be, with our Disney castle home.

That's a good point. Except the rest of it isn't very family friendly.

Yeah, God forbid we actually find ourselves in Disney land. That would be too much fun.
