Trial 16: The Meat Fueled Rage Machine - Loss Start [Action/Dictated]

[There was shuffling in the background and the sound of metallic boots making contact with the wooden floor. A minute later you could hear a door knob rattling, and maybe some mechanized whirring along with the heavy footsteps. Suddenly, there is a large crashing sound. Her poor door got demolished again... Seriously, Chie stay away from doors.]

S-Sorry! Sorry!

Ugh god, I can't believe this! I've changed! My body is different! It turned me to a robot! 

[Dun dun duuuun!]

Geez! I hate this castle...

[For those fortunate enough not to her demolish her door again in the journal, Chie can be found in the kitchen, struggling to grab on to things with her robotic hands. Her height and body shape remained, but her joints are exposed, mainly her shoulders and her hips. Her eyes look like camera lenses, and there are some circuit-like creases all over her body. Every time she makes a move, her body generates quiet motorized whirring sounds. She's accompanied by a Samoyed puppy with a green collar, who was just tilting it's head as it watches her master break stuff in the kitchen]

Uh, I don't know. My whole body just turned mechanical. I can't control my hands that well... I even broke my door. Again.

I'm trying! I can't control my hands. Or my whole body that well!

Arggh get get... over here!

[She's not referring to Blues, but to a spoon that keeps slipping from her fingers]

[whistles_the_blues]

Relax. Don't expect to get it right away.

[He certainly didn't get being a human in the first few minutes.]

[Chie sighed]

Y-Yeah, I'm trying. It's just not easy when this is the 23rd mug I broke.

[whistles_the_blues]

[There's a bit of a sigh, he's not surprised at all.]

You can always just wish for more, or go out and buy more.

On the plus side you're not hurting yourself by breaking them.

Yeah. I don't feel any pain now that I think of it... It's so weird. But-but, can you help me here? You might know something cuz y'know...

[whistles_the_blues]

[Huh. You know. It's not all that often that someone actually asks him for help. He usually just throws himself in there. So this is a bit of a surprise for him.]

So... a human sized robot. Not a giant robot, or some tiny little toy robot, or anything weird like that.

Still... geeze, I can't imagine having to deal with anything that rough, and I was stuck as a witch for a week! [Then again, being a witch? Actually more awesome than it sounds, broom injuries aside] Is there anything you need a hand with?

Other than getting my normal hands back? Because I broke 23 mugs just by holding them...

[whistles_the_blues]

I'll be there in a moment.

[Aaaaaaand it doesn't take him too long to get down to the kitchen. Just why exactly she's down there if she's a robot is a bit baffling to him. But hey, to each their own.]

Oh, thank god you're here...

[Chie fell on the floor, with broken ceramic everywhere.]

Controlling my legs isn't easy too. Aha-ha...

Oof...

[Wincing on her end, when suddenly, she has an idea]

Hey! We've got wizards and soldiers and all sorts of people here, maybe there's a mechanic around somewhere who could help? Like... a robot mechanic, or something. It would be just like going to the doctor!

There are? I don't know anyone who might be good with robots.

[whistles_the_blues]

Huh.

[Well... This seems pretty typical Chie. He'll offer her a hand.]

[Chie grabbed on Blues' hand, her fingers gripped on his forearm tightly. She got up just fine. It seems her legs are easier to control than her hands]

Geez, I should have known I'd have one of these losses. It never happened to me before. I guess I shouldn't have left my guard down.

[whistles_the_blues]

[Once he helps her up, he'll let go of her hand and step back.]

Luckily it's here in the castle. So you really just have to adjust to the loss and nothing else.

[She sighed]

Yeah. It sucks though... I never heard of anyone having to adjust to their losses this much.

[whistles_the_blues]

[He wont mention when the castle turned him human while they were in Japan. But then again, anyone that wasn't human was turned that way for it. Could that really be called a loss?]

Regardless, we should get to work on getting you adjusted.

I don't know, actually, it was just a thought. I was just remembering all those crazy cars people built over the summer for that Dead Zone race. Maybe one of those guys would know something?

[Okay, so cars and robots aren't the same, but hey, there's got to be a crazy tech genius around her somewhere]
