Mark mentioned safety plans the other day, and I know we've discussed it before. I think we should establish some safe zones for evacuation, just in case. This voice thing is giving me the creeps, and it's been a while since something catastrophic happened. I think we're due.

So we need safe areas and people in charge of getting others to those areas. Any volunteers?

I can offer physical protection. I'm Meg, by the way. I don't know that we've met. Perhaps people could gather in the library? It's large, and centralized, and there are books to keep people calm and occupied.

I don't know if I can protect it entirely by myself, but it's a start.

I've been so preoccupied lately that I haven't been keeping up with it as well as I should have. I'm not surprised there are people here who haven't heard of the evacuation plans already in place. It's called Code Blair. A group of volunteers through the castle who keep an eye out for kids, mostly, but it's been expanded to include anyone who might need evacuating from the castle in the event of an emergency.

Right now the safe zones outside the castle are Caritas in town and the Outpost on the edge of the Dead Zone.

There's been a lot going on, it's understandable. I just wanted to be sure that everyone had some safe place to go if something happened. Losing my voice has thrown me for a loop and made me a little nervous.
