I am relieved that spells do not require a voice. Should I have any unexpected - or unwelcome - visitors, I will not treat them kindly.

[Albus can be found enjoying the open air. He is dressed as brightly as usual and he seems at ease. Of course he is very good at masking his emotions, so he could be in a state of turmoil over current events. However he is not going to hide.

Waving one of his aged hands, he causes a flower to sprout from the ground. It's a rose, in fact. One that sparkles and spreads its blue - yes blue - petals. Almost immediately, a butterfly lands and takes some of the pollen. He smiles softly.]

Your spells don't need words? Any of them?

[This makes her both intrigued and jealous. The majority of her spells are based in clever, improvised wording, and this disaster has left her quite unarmed.]

It depends entirely on whether you are you or me. [Most Magic users need words and a wand. Albus can use his mind and channel his Magic through his hands. But he does have a wand, which makes things much easier.]

Last I checked, I was me - not you. But seriously - that's totally unfair. I don't think anyone in my world can do it.

I do believe that is correct. [He finds her quite amusing.] How is it unfair? I have put a great deal of time into my abilities, though I admit I was born with a certain talent.

Well it's like all the wizards I've met here's magic works differently. Like different kinds of words and stuff, or no words at all, or they don't have hand magic. But all of ours have to be said.

That entirely depends on their intent.

I've heard of wordless magic and that it's usually used unconsciously by very young wizards. I wasn't aware that you were able to use wordless magic, Professor.

[ He's certainly curious, but not all that surprised. Dumbledore is a powerful wizard, after all. ]

You are correct, Mr. Lupin, however wordless magic is something that is taught on the Hogwarts curriculum in your Sixth Year. It is highly effective in duels because your enemy will not know what spell you are using.

Really? We hadn't yet reached that part of the curriculum, then. We were only just starting on Dementors and Inferi before I was brought here.
It seems highly useful, though.

You were well on your way to studying it. I would not mind giving you a lesson or two, Mr. Lupin, if you are intrigued by it.

Professor? I didn't expect to see you here of all places. [Harry's face should show all of the confusion and surprise. Could the castle bring back the dead? Dumbledore had been dead for over a year in Harry's world.]

Harry! [He is delighted to him, yet...] You are older than you were before. It seems Paradisa cannot decide which age you should be whilst you remain here.

Something confuses me, Professor. Others here have mentioned that another "me" has been sighted here. Now, you mention another Harry being inside this castle. I don't understand. How can two people exist within the same timeline? There isn't another me here, is there?

I do believe he went home, so you needn't be concerned about running into him. [That would be awkward.] I am told a younger version of myself was one here as well - if that makes you feel any better.

What kind of magic can create rifts in time? It sounds like complex stuff to me. [Of course, Dumbledore probably understood it very well, being the clever man he is. Harry, isn't so versed on time travel that much.]

May I ask what point in my time are you from, sir? [He needs to know if this Dumbledore was killed by Snape yet or if he's still alive.]

Complex barely brushes the surface. I'm afraid I can't explain it. [This is beyond even his expertise.]

It would be your Seventh Year. The end. [He is going to be vague. If Harry doesn't know about having to die, he isn't going to inform him.]

[He stayed silent and nodded. So, Dumbledore was dead in his timeline. Harry's stomach performed a somersault. The memories of Dumbledore falling out of the tower were still strong inside him. Anger burned inside of him at Snape. How could he?]

Then, you are back from the dead, sir. You were murdered by Severus Snape. [Sorry but he can't help it. He needs to tell you, as he cannot hide the truth. It's one thing Harry can't do.]

I am indeed. [He arches a brow.] I was put out of my misery by Severus Snape. Your anger towards him is unfounded in that respect.

[Put out of his misery? What was he talking about?]

But sir.....Draco Malfoy was ordered to kill you by Voldemort, but he failed. Snape stepped in and finished the job. He....I watched you die by his hand. He had no right to do it! [Anger rising within his voice. He couldn't help it. He despised Snape even more for doing what he did. The coward.]

What do you mean put out of your misery? You were alive, if injured by the Locket Horcrux at the lake but.....you were alive.

I requested that Severus "step in" as you so eloquently put it. You were aware of my hand. The curse was spreading and I had only a year at best.

[He is sympathetic - even though he can't hear Harry.]

You have forgotten the ring, Harry. When I tried to remove the stone, I was cursed.

No, I haven't forgotten the ring, I know you told me about it. [His voice came out slightly more bitter than he meant it to. He was angry, confused and scared. All because of what had happened in the last year or so.]

Why did Snape have to kill you? It just looked like he was doing Voldemort's work by finishing you off because Malfoy couldn't. Are you saying you wanted Snape to kill you?

Indeed. The ring was something Tom stumbled upon without realizing the importance of it. I overcame the curse, but you saw the effect it had on me. It was thanks to Severus that I survived for a year.

It did, did it not? I am certain it put him in Voldemort's innermost circle. Wouldn't you say that is a good place for an intelligent and brave spy?

[Harry forced himself to calm down. He needed to listen to Dumbledore, now that he was alive once more. He would never have this chance again to speak to his old headmaster.]

How long has he been a spy? So, you allowed him to kill you, so that it would gain him passage into Voldemort's inner circle? Such a sacrifice though....was there no other way?

Harry, I was dying. He did me a favor and I am glad it worked to his benefit. As Voldemort gains power, we need someone that is close to him.
