Fact - The Gentlemen are here to collect seven hearts. They have three. They will come back tonight for another. We need to move before sunset to find them.

Fact - They have minions who are dressed in straight jackets. I understand one of us has one.

Fact - They have stolen our voices. They must have them somewhere. And knowing these creatures, they probably have them with them.

Fact - One True Voice from a Princess, or someone like a Princess, will kill the Gentlemen. That could be Queen Anne, or Arya, or someone like me. A significant woman. I'm not going to risk Arya or Queen Anne unless we have to, so I am going to try to track them on my own. I am asking for volunteers to go with me, and I am asking any woman here who knows she is an individual of note in their world to come with us, if they can.

Query - Could we let go of the one monster, so we can follow it back to The Gentlemen?

[Meg is fairly sure that a few years back, before the regime change, she would have qualified in some twisted way. After all, her father had been the King. But she was so far removed from all of that, now, and it physically sickened her to even think of aligning herself with Crowley. Nah. She'd just keep her mouth shut on this one.]

I'll go with you. I'm no princess, but last night I figured out that I can deal with the guys in the straight jackets easily enough from a distance. Unfortunately my powers don't seem to work on the Gentlemen, but they don't exactly seem too keen on doing their own fighting, so if we can get past the minions we might have a better shot.

I had not seen this as I was writing my own distribution, and commend you for furthering the knowledge. But what say you of not risking myself? Do you speak for me? I think not, nor do you speak for Princess Arya, who has shown herself more capable than any girl her age.

That is not to say I approve of this. What is it you think to do, with no plan in mind for an assault? Weapons will not work, as has been said, as you say yourself.

This is the first I have heard of a captive.

You're the only legitimate royalty we have. I don't want to risk what could be our only shot to take these things out by asking either one of you to come crashing in with me into their lair. Beyond that, I need Arya to be capable protecting the children. She's one of the few I trust with weapons.

If you go to them, you had best have an assault planned or that is more risk than reward, for there is no telling if or how you may be discovered in your brave but misguided pursuit of our voices. In the least, you should not exclude the men for their wits and strengths alone, even if their voice is of no use.

Dairine, here's what I was thinking. We have a frontal assault, but a few of us will slip around and infiltrate the inside. I'll go, along with Sonata and Django. I thought maybe you and Meg and whoever else we can rustle up can handle the distraction. What do you think?

I'm good with either infiltration or distraction, whichever is needed. I can turn invisible, though I have yet to test whether these Gentlemen would be able to see through that particular spell.

As for fighting, well, I suppose we could always test if they can survive molecular disintegration. Might be interesting.

I don't command. I am not a Queen, not a Princess, not anything but a warrior who is trying to save us. I can ask, and I wasn't even doing that.
