[Finding his way to the dining hall, Rodney sits himself down at a random chair at the largest empty table he can find. For a minute he just sits there tapping his fingers on the table... thinking.

He's not tried this wishing thing yet. He's not really he's fully sure how it works, but if the Castle has already taken payment from him he's damn sure he's not going to waste it. And, he's a scientist after all. What good would he be if he didn't experiment.

With that he clears his throat and begins...]

I wish for ice cream sundae, make it caramel, no hot fudge and whip cream and a cherry. Or better yet, make the ice cream pistachio, hmmm or maybe Neapolitan would be better.

Better yet, a banana split with a scoop of vanilla, chocolate, and ... not strawberry, um... how about chocolate chip?

Oh, now you know what would be good, chocolate chip cookie dough! It's been like forever since...

[Suddenly the table began filling with the different ice cream treats that Rodney mentioned and some he only had thought about but hadn't yet said.]

Uh, oops?! I think I may have gone a bit overboard. If anyone cares for some ice cream...

[DID SOMEONE SAY FOOD?

Sugar was already on her way to the dining hall, but when she sees the cold treats laid out on the table, the fairy zooms over to gasp and stare.]

Oh wow! So much ice cream!

[Rodney's eyes look up to see... he's not fully sure, he's never encountered a fairy before. Didn't think they actually existed.]

Yes uh, small wishing mishap. Help yourself.

[It's hard to mistake Sugar for anything but a fairy. Only a few inches tall and hovering with her wings, she looks exactly like your typical fairy. Well... except for that pink hair of hers.]

Oh boy! Thank you!

Now, let's see. Hmm... [What to choose? She floats in the air, surveying her options.]

[Rodney rubs his eyes with one hand.]

Wait, I think the ice cream is drugged! You look like a fairy with pink hair?!

[Sugar looks up, confused.]

Of course I do. That's because I am a fairy, silly!

What's drugged?

Really?! A fairy?! [He doesn't sound like he believes her but he looks closer and starts to sway.]

So were you born out of a babies first laugh then?

Drugged is when you ingest something that makes you see funny things. Like uh... Magic Mushrooms... Do you know what they are?

Yes! [See those wings? They're not just for decoration.]

Huh? [What do baby laughs have to do with it? He lost her.] I don't think so. Mommy would have told me.

Funny things? Do all Magic Plants do that? [She thinks.] Uhh... Mushrooms are those things people put in soup and stirred foods, right? Are they magic?

Huh! Clearly not all legends are based on fact. No surprise there!

Magic plants? No-no-no, you misunderstood. The mushrooms aren't magic, they're called that because they do those funny things! But yes, those are mushrooms.

Let me guess, you're a young fairy. A very young fairy... right?

But why call them magic if they're not magic? [Sugar is confused.]

[She puffs her chest out with pride.]

Uh huh! Sugar is an apprentice season fairy.

I expect that, like here, people didn't know any better so they called it magic when it really wasn't!

Sugar?! Really? That's your name? No-no, of course it is.

But there really is magic here!

Of course it is! What else would it be?

[Rodney sighs, annoyed] If you say so!

Nothing. It's fine. It's just not what I was expecting. I'm sure you're often told how sweet you are.

Uh huh! I sure am! [Not really. Only a few people tell her that on a regular basis.]
