[There's a few sounds at first. Heavy breathing, sounds of machinery being tampered with, some electrical sounds. Then it gets weird.

First there's sounds of moving furniture, not very unusual. Then the sounds of a door slamming.]

[More sounds of crashing things, followed by angry muttering before the journal is grabbed.]

[She knows those sounds. Those are never good sounds. As soon as they start Nepeta's rushing toward her journal, and also slipping on her blue slippers so she can make a dash for his room.]

And is using my room's items as weaponry.

[The journal is closed and taken along. By the time Nepeta arrives Equius will be standing in the hallway, bracing himself against his room's door.]

[There's the sounds of something breaking. It sounds like glass.]

[When she arrives, she runs toward him. Most noticeably, she seems to be missing a shoe, and she isn't wearing her signature coat.

She stops just by his door, and without even asking props herself against it to help him hold it shut. She looks up at him, an exasperated expression on her face.]

Okay. It's gotta be a castle thing, because my closet wouldn't give me my coat and the elevator ate one of my shoes.

[The missing coat did catch his eye. The fact that she wasn't wearing her most favorite piece of clothing was a bit of a shock.]

That is certainly odd.

[Something big slams against the door, possibly pushing Nepeta out of the way. Equius remains stalwart though.]

Is this a normal occurrence?

[She tumbles forward at that, but she's right back up against that door a second later.]

This specifically? No, this doesn't happen very often. But the castle throwing a hissy fit? Yeah, that's on purr with the rest of the stuff that happens.

[Glass shatters against the door, cutting off Nepeta's words.]

On second thought, maybe we should ride this out somewhere else...
