First Contest [Dictated/action for those outside the castle grounds]

[Zoey was shocked, surprised and most of all confused at her surroundings. The last thing she remembered was that she was in a Pokemon Center and then suddenly outside a castle. She wasn't exactly happy, but neither was she really angry. She gives a sigh as her Glameow looked for signs of trouble.]

If anyone can read this? My name is Zoey a Pokemon Coordinator, and I would like some information. Where am I? And how did I get here?

You there. Just what are you doing?

I'm lost, can't you tell? [Zoey under normal circumstances would have ignored the comment, but today wasn't normal.] Look, I'm just trying to figure out how I got here.

Other universes? So... I'm not in some castle in Sinnoh, I'm in some other world?

[Zoey raised an eyebrow at the way he said 'human', but kept her mouth shut at that comment.]

[Well he is a grey-skinned guy with horns. It's not too far a stretch.]

[While Zoey had seen weirder Pokemon than Equius, she was trying not to stare at the horns. After all, she didn't want to be considered rude.]

You too, Equius. Is there anything more I should know about this place other than it likes to kidnap people from a lot of different worlds?

Well, the castle is "magical" in a sense. You may wish for things and it will give them.

Whoa, slow down. You're in a place called Paradisa, no one is really sure how anyone gets here we jut end up here. This place has some..system that's easiest to think of as magic but there must be something more behind it.

You're the first person that is actually helpful. Thanks. While I would normally be skeptical at that, there's a lot of things back home I don't really understand either so I wouldn't completely rule it out.

Is there a chance that this place is psychic or something similar?

I wouldn't rule out any sort of extra sensory perception but I don't know how it works. Technology works here but you can..wish things into existence. Food, clothes..nothing living or with a lot of moving parts or massively destructive but simple things you can.

I wouldn't go just wishing for things though, I've seen it backfire too many times.

Wishes? That part sounds weird even if what you say about he castle is true. I do have a little bit of food, but is that the only to get emergency items like food and clothing?

If we knew how the castle worked we might be able to get out of here. What would happen if someone tried to break out of the castle grounds?

No, you can buy things with the local currency. But that would require having a job here to earn them. The Castle provides for the residents who live in it.

That's a tougher question, people come and go all the time. Some people multiple times. There doesn't seem to be a pattern aside from we know they return to their place in time. It's not so much about escaping as being sent home, directly attacking the castle will not do anything positive.

So people come and go at all times then. How would I find out if certain people were here though?

It seems that way, no real pattern to it. I've looked and run programs and it just seems random. Either that or at the whim of something we haven't seen yet.

As far as I know you can read back through the journals, but there's not an index or anything. It's painstaking but it should all be there. Anything written open to all.

You must be from a different 'universe' than me if you don't know what they are then. The short snswer is that they're creatures of a variety of types, abilities, and powers that usually work with humans.

Good, at least I don't have to go over anymore of the basics than,

Tell me about it. Every so often, there's some people who try to use Pokemon for their own vindictive goals. Crimanal groups like Team Rocket who wanted world conquest and Team Galactic who were willing to destroy my world so they could have one world created just for them. Pokemon are for the most part good and only become evil if they're with an evil human.

[Team Rocket, Team Galactic? Those sound like ridiculous team names.]

The same could be said about most things. Almost anything can be turned into a tool of destruction if used for reasons like that.

True, but it doesn't mean those sorts of people should accepted from what they do, regardless of intent.

I was abducted by this castle and brought here against my will, just like you were. No one really knows why we're all here.

Pokemon are creatures that come from my world. Each with their own unique abilities, powers, and types. Some live in rivers and oceans, others in forests, and even some that seek out electricity in homes or power plants.

We have similar creatures back home from where I come from. We have dragons, mermaids, trolls, goblins. That sort of thing. Nice to meet you too, Zoey. What does a Pokémon Coordinator do?
