Pesky rules of a vampire lifestyle. The item in question would be a booklet that Katherine was extremely amused to put together. There was a simple note placed upon it stating just: 'An apology for not visiting while you were recovering. - Katherine']

Well, should I ever need it, I doubt it would be all that private. I don't really want any tolerance, either. If I get like that. It's better for everyone if I'm dealt with quickly.

I'm different from supernatural non-humans. Most things that'll kill a human can kill me, I'm not immortal or invulnerable, so I figure if they need to take me out they'll find someone to shoot me.

And I know there are people around here who'll be willing to do it.

i'm gonna be quite frank here and say that i actually don't care if people i don't know get hurt if that happens
but there are a few i do care about
and i don't want to end up hurting them unless it's intentional

[Hellboy spent a really, really long time staring at this before he even began to formulate some kind of response.

He knew what his limits were. He certainly did. But he'd never had any trouble pushing back whenever some stupid supernatural force tried to get those limits to bend. He had always had enough will power to immediately revert back to who he really was, Hellboy, the guy from Connecticut who grew up in New Mexico.

But ... he had been wondering lately, more like fretting over it really, about the nature of this place's powers. He'd fought terribly powerful things, major mythological figures and ancient gods. And although Paradisa for the most part didn't meddle with their lives, apart from changing the scenery every now and then or turning someone into a cat -- he couldn't help but wonder if it was actually more powerful than anything he'd ever encountered.

And if it was, could he actually push it back if it tried to bend his limits?

Eventually, hours after he notices this go up in the journal, he pens an answer. He is left-handed, so it's hard to disguise his handwriting and still have it be legible, but he is trying his best.]

I would just want them to kill me. But how do you tell someone that?
