Third car - Halloween Spirit(s) [Action] - backdated to earlier today (31/10)

[The changes in the castle hadn't passed Aaron by. He quickly came to realize that this probably was what people had warned him about on his first day in the castle. Naturally it makes him observe the decorations with suspicion. But that wasn't all. He had woken up the other day wearing a west, flannel shirt and jeans. Besides that attire he was also wearing an empty gun holster with a large metallic buckle and a classic cowboy hat. It was as far from what he usually wore possible. Worst yet, he couldn't take it off. Another clear indication of the awful castle's shenanigans.

For the last couple of days he had started to feel different. Thoughts about horses and cattle crossed his mind ever so often. He fought back against it to remain himself but for how long he could, he didn't know.

In a strike of this character change he had found himself at the shooting ranch, practising quick draws and aiming. Strange seeing as he never had handled a gun in his entire life before.

[Aaron twirls his gun before placing it back into the holster and glances over to the woman. Her attire was a bit slutty but Aaron decided not to comment on that. After all, it wasn't up his alley. He then lifted the brim of his hat in greeting.]

Thank you ma'am. It's important to keep practising. Nobody knows what tomorrow might bring.

[Well, it's not as if the castle had to pay attention to anything like historical accuracy. Wade herself can't find any fault in it, outside of maybe being a little chilly]

Women folk shouldn't deal with guns and such. It's not for you.

[She raises an eyebrow at him]

We got two eyes and fingers the same as you, you know.

You might get hurt. But all right, show me what you got. [Gives her his gun and takes a step back.]

[She gives him a cocky smirk and takes the gun, turns towards the range, and fires a group of shots into the target in a fairly close group. Wade has handled a gun in the past, but she's never been as into it as she is now.]

Not too bad. Thinking about becoming the next Annie Oakley?

Naw. I'm not about all that show-boating. I'm about the work.

Work? What kind o' work would require a woman to know how to fire a gun?

You think men are the only ones that run cattle?

[Frowns.] Why do you answer a question with another question? So you run cattle, fine. But in my home town women doesn't run cattle.

[Wade rolls her eyes] You're awfully grumpy.

Yeah, go ahead and tell me something I don't know.

...if you took a breath before you fired, you might improve yer aim a bit.

[She hands the gun back with a thin-lipped expression]

[Aaron recives back the gun and swirls it around before placing it back into his holster.]
