[ It wasn't too late, but Kirby was sleeping peacefully on the couch in the Lobby anyway, not seeing any need to stay up when it was dark. Besides, the dark could get pretty scary if he was alone, and he wasn't too keen on the idea of wandering this big castle alone.

When he woke up from his nap, the puffball blinked and looked around. His dream was still vivid in his mind - his best friends Fumu and Bun were playing with him, and he was even allowed to stay over at their place in the castle... Kirby sniffled, suddenly feeling extremely small and lonely. Fumu and Bun weren't in this castle. Neither was Meta-Knight, or anyone he knew from home. ]

Poyo... [ he whimpered, not really aware that his journal was open by his side, sharing every sniffle and hiccup as he cried with all of the inhabitants of the castle. ]




[[ ooc : Going to bed soon, so if I haven't replied, I will tomorrow morning! For now, have a depressed Kirby. ]]

[Molotov, still on her loss, is wandering around in the lobby. One of the cool things about being a kid in this castle is that no one really enforces things like "bedtime" or "don't talk to strangers". But even if they did, how could this cute little sad pink ball be a threat? Molotov decides to investigate.]

Why are you crying?

[ The girl's voice makes him look up, blinking back tears. ]

P-poyo... Fumu... Bun... [ he utters, trying to wipe at his eyes. He knew that probably no one would know who they were, but he was having trouble wording how he felt. ] 'Lone...

[This is... not as easy as Molotov thought it would be. She has to think about the ball's answer for a minute before any of it clicks.]

Oh, you are lonely?

[ Kirby nods; even though there were a lot of nice people here, nothing quite compared to home, and that dream just made it worse. ] Poyo.

[Kirby might hear the soft whirrrrrr of Huey's wheelchair well before he sees him, but when Huey notices Kirby, he swallows his "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?" reaction, noticing the little puff ball is crying. He pulls his wheelchair up near Kirby's couch, and leans forward.]

Hey...uhh...little guy. Are you...okay?

[chubbycreampuff]

[ Indeed, Kirby does hear the stranger approach, and he watches him through teary eyes. His question makes Kirby try to wipe away his tears, but he can't; he just can't stop crying, at least, not yet. ]

P-poyo... [ he utters shakily, hiccuping again. He didn't know what to say. ] 'Lone... poyo.

[Huey can sympathize with the little puffball, though he's a bit more used to flying solo than most.]

You're alone? That makes two of us, I guess. [He smiles.] I'm Huey, what's your name?

[ Kirby supposes that this mean castle made a lot of people alone, and tries to let up on the tears. ]

Huey. [ he repeats carefully, committing the name to memory before giving his own, motioning to himself. ] Kaabii.

[flailingfelt]

[Kermit pads up at the sound of crying, and frowns]

Hey, little guy... what's wrong?

[chubbycreampuff]

[ Kirby sniffles and looks up, having trouble seeing Kermit through his watery vision ]

Poyo... [ he murmurs, trying to blink away his tears ] 'Lone.

[flailingfelt]

Ohhh ... no you're not! [he reaches out and pats him, comfortingly] You've got me, I'm here. ... My name's Kermit. What's yours?

[chubbycreampuff]

[ feeling a bit less sad, he tries to focus on Kermit instead of the reason for his crying. Kirby sniffles, parroting the name ] Ker...mit.

[ but then he introduces himself, wiping at his eyes some more ] Kaabii.

[does something of a double-take as he passes by. Why... is the cushion crying? Then he sees the journal and realises that the cute, squishy, cushion-like thing is probably another resident.

[ Kirby is too absorbed in his angst to notice the shocked resident before him right away, but once he looks up, he realizes someone is there. ]

... Poyo...? [ he says shakily, sniffling again. ]

[i-it's so friggin cute, omg. And he wishes Mori-senpai was here to help him communicate. But he's not, so Kaoru's gonna try his best >_< V ]

Why the tears, Poyo-chan? [have a hanky?]

[ Kirby accepts the handkerchief, wiping at his eyes with it. He didn't have the heart to bother trying to correct Kaoru about his name yet. ]

... 'lone... poyo, [ he whimpers softly ]

[Aradia, being nocturnal, happens to be walkin' a walk through the lobby in the middle of the night, on her way to the kitchen, when she hears a noise and sees a familiar little pink thing making it. Awwwwww :(

So yeah she'll come over and lean down beside him.]

Kobby? Are you ok? What's wrong?

[ Kirby recognizes the voice and looks up, trying to blink back tears. ]

Ara... Aradia... 'lone, poyo... [ he whimpers quietly.]

[Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww ok that's enough w's for one lifetime. Aradia takes a seat on the sofa next to him and pats his head in a reassuring manner.]

[getting back in after a late session of soccer practicing, Tenma hears the crying. Thinking it's a small child, he investigates, but finds a pink puffball thing]

...Hello? Are you okay?

[ Kirby looks up at the boy, sniffling still. He blinks back his tears to try and see him better ] ... Poyo... [ he murmurs sadly, starting to get used to saying this simple word ] 'lone... poyo.

[aaaaaaaaah he's so cute but he's so sad, and that makes Tenma sad]

[ Stocking was heading to the kitchen for tea. She may have taken longer than expected in brushing out her hair, whoops.

She heard some sniffing and would have ignored it if it wasn't coming from someone she knew. ]

[ Kirby looks up, a bit surprised to see someone he knew. He tries to wipe his eyes free of tears ] Sto...cking, poyo... [ he hiccups and sniffles again ]
