[ He nodded, seeing the spot. He grips Thorin's ear in one hand and aligns the needle with the other. He didn't bother counting - people only tense when you count. He thrust the white-hot needle through the other's ear and out the other side, the heat cauterizing the wood instantly so there was no blood. He took the new piece from Thorin and quickly pushed it through the new hole, securing the back. ]

[Thorin resists the urge to toy with the new piercing. He knows if he fiddles with it too much, it won't heal correctly.]

[ Ashura would not he been so confident doing it if his own ears had not been poked through so many times. But they were the only part of him pierced besides his navel, but that was a piercing only a few had seen - namely Felix. ]
Quite welcome. I would suggest getting a salve from the medical clinic, just in case, but the cauterization should keep to much infection from setting it.

[This is said with the faint sound of a chuckle. He'd had his ears pierced when his father and grandfather had died. He had a tattoo inked on when his brother fell, and when his sister's husband had as well.]
