002 Encryptions broken - voice

I noticed maps in the history of the journal, and I've been trying to follow some as I learn my way around but they seem to be a bit...incongruous. Does Paradisa have a habit of changing it's own geography?

Are there other things to be aware of to avoid this place being more hazardous than it already is?

Well, at the beginning of this month, four of the castle's towers suddenly decided to close themselves off. Everyone living in them got automatically moved to another room.

Lovely, well this will be an interesting challenge then. I wonder why the towers were closed off... pardon did you say they closed themselves off? How is that possible?

Wizard did it. Or whatever magic this castle operates by- I really don't know. But yeah, everyone woke up outside their rooms all of a sudden and had to find their way back. Me, I automatically got moved in with my girlfriend as a bonus.

Wizard? I don't believe in magic, whatever this place operates on it has to have a reasonable explanation. I suppose congratulations are in order for your move as you seem happy about it.

I am pretty pleased at that. And if you want to try to find logic in this place, honestly, I commend you for it. I've given up trying myself.

You'll find, should you get to know me, that I am a terribly determined woman. It is my era and, frankly, the way we British are in my time.

Frankly I agree, but it seems to rub some the wrong way. Strong women tend to be an irritant to some, I suppose.

Probably because they're afraid of losing. Me, I don't mind being proven wrong... well, not too awfully much. I try to treat those times as learning experiences.

It's kinda more like nobody's really meticulously charted out the whole thing before. Lack of decent cartographers, I guess.

[....wait.] Uh, are you talking about the castle Paradisa or the world Paradisa? Or the region Paradisa...

I feel rather at a loss for myself and it was a skill and hobby back home so I thought I might put it to use here but...

I had no idea it was so many things. So it is a castle, a world and a region? Does it exist as all of them simultaneously or was someone sorely lacking in creativity for naming?

Yeah, it's kind of... both, I guess. The world probably has a different name, but like hell if anybody's actually figured it out yet. So it's sort of short hand.

Brock Samson, hey. But yeah, we used to have somebody a couple years back who was compiling that sort of stuff. Lois Lane. Ask around; somebody probably has the page number written down.

"Guides"? Uh, no, we really don't have those... I've just been here a really long time.

The geography doesn't actually change. We've discovered that it actually moves us to other locations within the continent which are modeled to resemble location from other worlds. Though the short answer is 'yes'.

To answer the rest of it, I believe you'll find the above report useful to apprise you of some of the castle's usual behaviors.

Thank, that is quite helpful, though I am still looking to catalog this place for myself. This will help me greatly in doing that. It seems there is much more to this place than meets the eye.

Did, more accurately. Military intelligence, now it's more broadbased with international operations for national and global security.

Its a bit of a lot isn't it? It's security, more or less. On a large scale.
