I didn't hear it on the radio
I don't know how other worlds do it, but in the good old U. S. we go pretty crazy for Christmas. A lot of radio stations start playing Christmas music in October, and all the stores start selling their Christmas stuff around that time too. Oh, and Black Friday? Just... never go shopping on Black Friday unless you have no love for your life.
Last Christmas I celebrated back home, I was trying not to be killed by gorgons. So I'm thinking Paradisa's going to be an improvement.

It was... odd. We do not have a holiday like it, in my world, and we do not have the same customs at all. But I liked it, in the end. The things the holidays is supposed to represent, I enjoyed those. Though, I admit, the kissing was... awkward at times.

Of Christmas? The books say different, but... well, it might be more awkward this year given Tylendel is here.

Things aren't that bad in England but it's bloody close. When Christmas comes around you have gotten tired of Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
What's Black Friday? It's nothing we celebrate in England.

Black Friday isn't really a celebration. It's more like a battle for the best deal.

So it's a sale then. Seems weird to me to have a special day dedicated to it. But you Yankees loves your shopping.
