#7-A Stairwell [Backdated to this morning]

[This is unknowingly dictated as he wanders into the lobby that morning.]

...What the-?! [There's a loud noise as he pretty much trips down the flight of stairs because one stair is missing.] Damn.

[A few minutes later, Bucky's sitting on the bottom of those steps, looking at the lobby in all its crazy, hallucinogenic glory with his journal open next to him, trying not to panic.]

Anybody got any ideas on why the lobby is...'interesting', today?

[There's a woman at the end of the stairs, who had been attempting to simply stroll, trying to make sense of this damn day...

oh, that looked like a rough fall.]

And here I thought this was normality.

[Would you mind a hand extended your way?]

[He takes it gratefully, pulling himself up.] Not this sort of crazy...whatever this is.

[She'll eye him carefully, before perhaps staring at something strange that catches her eye. What is this place and why is this happening?]

Believe me, I'm not near to being used to this quite yet.

Nothing like this has actually happened before. I think this is pretty new for everyone.

Ah-- [A sigh. Just her luck, right?] Of course.

I don't think that I should have been surprised, right?

I'm definitely not. [He's used to the weird, and not just because of this Castle. He looks over at her, ignoring the fact that the walls looks like they're breathing.] James Buchanan Barnes. Most people call me Bucky.

[Is action okay?]

[Have a little blue haired child running up wearing what looks to be a helmet swiped from a knocked over suit of armor. She has to physically hold it up to talk.]

Are you okay mister?

[Action is fine~]

Fine, fine. [he sits up, and tilts her helmet up.] Preparing for the worst?

Yup! [She grins at him in thanks for helping with the helmet. You'd think the castle would be nice enough to make them in kid sizes.] There's all this crazy stuff going on! Everything keeps falling over or jumping to life!

And you didn't see my subject line fail.

And the lobby is strange. It looks like someone melted it. [And added a few stairs. And lots of colors.] Supposedly I was told it's because it's Leap Day.

It's Leap Day! [Or so the calendar says in the Castle. He cares so little about whether or not it's right.]

[blue_sniper]

Leap Day? What does this have to do with...anything. [...Something just went floating by him, and he doesn't even know what it is.]

[sameteam]

[Sam gets a little quiet, shrugging silently on his end.] I don't know.

[blue_sniper]

Huh. [Nice job, Castle. You've thrown everybody off.] Where are you, Sam?

[sameteam]

In my room. [With his bike that he can't ride b'awwww.]

[blue_sniper]

Good. Don't come down to the lobby. It's kind of...strange, down here. [Like completely crazy.]

[Dairine comes sliding into the lobby from the Ira Tower stairway... which has at least temporarily turned itself into a metal slide.]

Pretty much. So what's happened to you today?

[Geary is standing off to one side, having watched Bucky tumble down.]

No, no, fine. I'm fine. [He stands up, brushing himself off.] Trust me, this place can be strange when it wants to be. But...nothing like this before.

The warnings about this place don't do it justice, I will say.

I've been here for four months, and there hasn't been anything like...this. [He gestures to the lobby.] Even on Friday the 13th.

No. One of the stairs in the stairway is missing. I didn't see it and tripped down the stairs. I'm fine, Lucrezia, don't worry. The lobby is...pretty crazy, though.
