In the labs

[Bruce is in the labs, trying to do research on the bloater creature. He managed to get some spore samples, once the bloater was gone. He's hoping some people show up for treatment, so he can get more samples. Unfortunately, he falls asleep (or maybe falls unconscious) in the middle of his research. When he wakes up, something is definitely wrong. He feels heavy and bulky, in a strange way. Looking down, he feels a wave of horror. There's no mistaking the massive green body he's looking at. Somehow, he's become the Hulk, but retained his own personality! Carefully, Bruce finds and, with a bit of fumbling, opens his journal.]

Um. I have a problem. Somehow, I've become the Hulk, but mentally remained myself. I'm trying to do research on the bloater problem, but I don't know if I'm going to be able to operate lab equipment in this form. Hulk is massive! So, uh, don't be alarmed, if you see a large, green creature roaming the halls. ... I apologize, if I accidentally break anything.

[Bruce speaks, instead of writing, as he did before and winces at the deep, loud voice he produces. He whispers.]

God, sorry, I didn't mean to shout.

_{[ And the journal goes silent as Ashura closes it and makes his way down to the clinic and once at the clinic has to take a moment to figure out how to get to the labs.}

He finally does get in and pauses, blinking when he sees Hulk - which wasn't a hard thing to do, see him. It would be harder to miss him.

For the first time, Ashura suddenly felt quite small at his six foot height and more willowy than usual. ]

Oh dear, you were not making light of quite how big you get.

[Bruce waits patiently, shifting around so he is facing the door. He smiles when Ashura appears. He shrugs at the man's comment.]

No, I'm afraid I wasn't. I'm not even sure I can leave the room without damaging things.

Well, me, sort of. Maybe. He's rather like an alternate personality, except the physical changes are more dramatic...I'm not sure he even has a full personality. [Bruce sighs.] He might just be a physical manifestation of my rage.

No, I think that staying here might be the best thing for you. At the least you are not rampaging?

I'll have to leave, if this lasts more than a day. I guess not rampaging is good, but I'm not exactly useful like this. But, yeah, retaining my mind is good...I guess.

I feel clumsy, but I know Hulk isn't, from footage of him I've seen. [Bruce winces.] I-I could sit on the floor I guess. No chair is going to hold me.

[He slowly hunches down, until he is sitting down, his knees pulled up to his chest.]

There we are. Now I might not get such a large crick in my neck.

_{[ He smiled and came up to him, reaching out and resting his hands atop Hulk's knee, pale cream against green. ]}

I am sure this will pass soon, Bruce.

[Bruce isn't used to physical contact, much, but he forces himself to stay still and to smile. He hopes the expression comes across as friendly.]

Thank you. I hope you're right, Ashura. For one thing, I really would prefer having clothes to wear.

[He blushes green.]

Well, you could always wish for clothing big enough for this body.

I don't know. Given that the castle probably did this to me, I'm reluctant to trust it to help.

Well, the only other option is perhaps taking down my curtains and making a wrap for you, though it might take several of them...

[Bruce laughed, shaking his head.]

No, please, I don't...it's not really that important. Hulk's fairly impervious to heat and cold. Don't bother about it. If I do end up leaving the lab, I'll find a way to get some clothes.

Yes, we wouldn't want to give the more sensitive members of the Castle heart attacks, would we?

_{[ He patted his knee. ]}

Do you know, I rather like this green color you've turned.

Uh, no, especially since I can't give CPR in this form.

[Bruce shifted, uneasily.]

Um. Thank you. I look like a neanderthal.

Well, considering I do not know what that is, I shall have to take your word for it.

Have you managed to eat or drink anything since this happened?

No, I only woke up a little while ago. I'm not really hungry. [Bruce laughs, a bit wearily.] That's the least of my worries.

Perhaps, but it is easier to deal with the small problems first and work to the bigger ones.

_{[ He moved and took a seat on a nearby stool, smoothing out the white and red robes as he did so. ]}

Since this is a trick of the Castle, I would say that your options for turning back to normal are somewhat limited.
