27. Maybe I'll sleep inside my coat and/Wait on your porch til you come back home
My sister, River Tam, has left Paradisa again.
Thank you once more to everyone who was kind to her. It means a lot to both of us.
[And he's just going to leave it there because he's feeling pretty dead inside.]

[She pauses a beat, hesitant to open up - but this was Simon, after all. He'd both helped and comforted her, and now it seems they've got something in common.]
Cas is gone, too.
Meg
I am sorry to hear that, as well. I'd like to give some sort of consolation, but I know nothing can really help it feel any better.
Simon
Yeah, you're preachin' to the choir. I fell apart and now everything is just... numb.
Was she your only family?
Meg
She is. This is the third time she has come and gone in the time that I have been here.

Just...try not to let it get to you. I know that's asking for a lot, but you don't have to be miserable forever.

Elsa may not know Simon that well yet. She may have never met his sister. But she knows the pain of losing a sister, so this entry resonates strongly with her.]
I'm so very sorry to hear that.

I understand how you feel. Anna... she's my whole world. I don't know what I'd do without her.
[That's sort of a lie. She does know what she'd do if she thought Anna was gone forever; collapse to the ground in grief and completely give up on life. But she won't mention that.]
This sort of separation... it can be unbearable.

Will you be all right?
[ Though he can imagine the loss. He will always remember how he had felt when Tylendel left him. It felt like there was nothing left inside, that there never would be again. ]

Re: voice;
That's good.
If you want further distraction, I am always happy for company on horseback rides.

Re: voice;
Of course, Simon. What are friends for in hours such as these?
