Today I have been in this place for a year. There is still much I do not understand about its ways as well as the ways of the people who live here, including all of you. There are times where I think I am adjusting, where I think I am understanding, but then something happens and it is clear that I am not.

I am not sure if I will ever understand.

What makes him untrustworthy?

He is a liar and a manipulator. He is from my world and my time; this is not a man I simply met the other day and decided to warn against.

Okay, but what has he done? What is he going to do? At this point, it is just your word with no evidence.

You are quick to trust someone you have just met over me.

I don't trust him. I do not know him. But I will not distrust him based on the words of someone who cannot even tell me why I should not trust him.

He is a Templar. He all but destroyed the Colonial Brotherhood, save my Mentor, and ordered the burning of my village. Do not trust him.

[Honestly, Molotov isn't entirely sure there's anyone left in the castle who hasn't heard Ezio talking about Assassin business, so it's not likely that it even matters if she knows.]

You offer no proof! You are just a smaller Ezio, blaming all your problems on a boogeyman with a name you cling to -- Rodrigo Borgia, Haytham Kenway, it is all the same! What, because I want to know why instead of blindly following orders? Because I take offense at being told what I believe in? Because I know there is more to people than just some label slapped across their forehead by their own opposition? Assassins are all about free will, and guess what, Connor? I have my own, too. I am entitled to ask questions, whether you like them or not. I have the choice to figure out for myself who I think is wrong or bad. "Devil" is not necessarily the same as "Satan". A devil is just an evil spirit, and playing devil's advocate just means you are debating the opposing viewpoint to see how solid an argument is.
