[Mindfang isn't bothering to write out an entry in the journal today - she's only taking a moment to dictate her thoughts between bouts of exploring the utter havoc that is the castle right now.]
I do not quite understand what has possessed this world today, but if only this were its typical disposition! This is surely more entertaining than its usual state. I believe I passed a beast made of books only moments ago - perhaps I shall track it and see if it can be slain.
[If you happen to be around the lobby, you might see a troll pirate running up and upside-down the staircases, trying to find something to flay with her sword. But don't worry, she's not really looking out to hurt anybody; she's just a bit high on the crazy atmosphere right now.
You just may want to watch your step.]

It is refreshing to finally have a need to stay on one's toes.
Action! A bit late, but asdfgh!
"Ahh! Oh... oh god! What- what are you doing? Are you, are you trying to kill someone? If you are, then- um, well then I guess there's nothing really that- that I can do about that. Except... I'd appreciate it if you... didn't kill me love... this castle is doing quite a good job at this alrea-ahh!"
[He ducks. A vase narrowly misses his head.]
"Oh... well... that's not good..."
Hey, better late than never! :D
Kill somebody? [she laughs] Perhaps if a worthy opponent becomes apparent, but I am simply enjoying the adventurous atmosphere while it persists. It is rather like being back on my ship.
Though perhaps if you fear death so, you would do best to remain in your room. It seems our surroundings are rather unpredictable today.
:D!
[He stands up and pats down his labcoat, and bows rather formally.]
"Wheatley. G-Genius at your- at your service!"
[After he bows, he looks at that sword curiously, and then the looks her over.]
"A worthy opponent eh? One who might be somewhat skilled in the art of sword fighting...ma-maybe?"
[He laughs nervously, and would scramble after her, following her through whatever chaos she found herself in.]

Marquise Spinneret Mindfang, former gamblignant of the Alternian seas.
[She continues walking then, intent on continuing her exploration. She allows him to follow, though, and addresses his question.]
Sword fighting, if that is who I happen across, but any type of willing warrior would be fine - I do not limit myself to fighting styles. And surely any who would wish for a challenge of the mind would be welcome. I am a troll of many talents, you see.

[He nods.]
"I've read up a little bit about sword fighting, though I happen to be more of a um... "warrior of science, myself."
[as if the labcoat didn't give it away.]
"Maybe if you're um... not busy some other times, I'd be willing to learn about how to handle a um, sword... or fighting in general."
[He steps over a rug, which is curling around like a snake.]
"Can't be that hard now can it?"

The difficulty level is dependent on natural skill, of course. Some simply take naturally to the blade whereas others... do not.
[The expression on her face is maybe strongly hinting that she believes Wheatley falls into that latter category.]
But I would be willing to grant you a lesson or two, should you have the desire to learn. I have little else to do in this castle when it is not so active as today.

[He may have heard that hinting in her voice, but takes no action upon it.]
"My superior um...artificia; intellect allows me to remember a-alot of things love. I'm like some sort of lightning fast... Einstien, if you... even know who that is. Eitherway, I promise you I'd be worth your time."
no subject
[She steps through a door that has relocated itself to the floor.]
And I can not claim to know who Einstein is, but I assume he or she is some sort of human metaphor for intelligence. Am I terribly off the mark?
