Kind of. I'm just glad that she's not here alone.

I bet she's glad, too.

[Kate would offer the girl a smile if she was in person, but instead just settles for hoping it transfers through the dictation well enough.]

Apparently, my fiancé has been here for a while. I haven't tracked him down yet but, I think things are easier to deal with sometimes when you know someone will have your back.

[That was truthfully a long lesson for her to learn, but one that Castle certainly helped with.]

[Nita can hear it. And it brings a smile to her face too.] Yeah, it is. And it's way easier to get the hang of things here, if you have somebody who already knows the way of things.

That's the impression I get. Hopefully I'll find Castle soon, although I'm not sure if I can trust his judgement about things here. He's probably having way too much fun.

[A little laugh] Well, I guess that's better than him being miserable, right?

Yeah, I guess it is. [Kate laughs a little too.] Well, Nita, if I have anymore questions later you mind if I run them by you? So far I think you're my resident expert on magic. [She certainly wasn't going to let Castle hear her say that.]

Sure! I'll see what I can do, though to tell you the truth, there's still a lot about this place that I'm figuring out.
