Since it appears that the changes that happened to our home last month are not yet going away, I would like to make the best of what we have here, and that means making sure the clinic is prepared in case of emergency.

I do not often speak on the journals, so allow me to introduce myself- I'm Dr. Simon Tam, and I work at the Paradisa medical clinic, which is now located in the Ira Tower. [Have a sketch of a map to the clinic.] If anybody who has arrived in the past few months has any sort of medical skills- a healing gift or magic, or even any experience working with your hands- we could really use your help here. Crises do not happen often, but I would prefer we not be caught offguard.

If anybody is willing to learn the basics of first aid and medical care or needs to brush up on their skills, Dr. Keller or myself would be more than happy to teach you- and both of us are surgeons, so we are able to handle any heavy lifting of that sort. A few people to help keep the place tidy would be welcomed, as well.

It is indeed; we have been shortstaffed for a while now, so any help would be appreciated.

Payment can be provided if you want, yes- supplies and the like may be wished for, but nothing can replace the actual people.

Back home I was studying forensics at college. I was thinking about becoming a medical examiner, so.. not exactly living patients, but I could learn. I like helping people.

Excellent. You're right, working with dead bodies is not quite the same- but again, Dr. Keller and myself do most of the heavy lifting anyway.

It can depend- if it's cold or flu season or there's something dangeous going on in the castle, we can be. It seems like we are either very busy or nearly empty.

So I imagine. When I first came here, I was stunned by the existence of electric lights; I can scarcely picture the sort of environment to which you must be accustomed. [She's seen enough of the medical tech to know it's...more than a bit beyond her.]

I agree- and that is a little troubling. It makes me wonder if something worse is not around the bend, to be honest.
