Is there anyone in this place who knows anything at all about caring for dragons?

[ Because the only thing Tauriel knows about them is that they should be avoided or killed, and that isn't really cutting it at the moment. ]

I can hunt, yes. Tauriel can as well but I fear that, with how it follows us, it may scare away any game.

With a new hatching, that is quite likely. [Dragons did not gain decent hunting skills until they were well into their adolescence.] However, you might be able to convince it to stay with one of you while the other hunts. After all, you are its current parents.

[Firethroat is well aware that some residents are reluctant to wish for thing, understandability in her mind. She too was wary of it, though she never has been one to trust easily.]
