[What's especially concerning is the fact that Connor wasn't in his castle room a second ago. He had been in the infirmary, and getting zapped to different points in the castle at its discretion is kind of... annoying... to put it bluntly.

At least the earthquake didn't injure him any further, he thinks, though he's still limping a bit as he opens his door out into the hall.]

Last year... around this time, if I am remembering correctly, something similar happened in the city. I do not know if it is a yearly occurrence.

From what I understand, reconstruction was partly due to the efforts of people and through the magic of the castle. [Though that's pretty moot now, seeing as the city completely changed itself not long ago anyway...]

I am well enough given that I had been in town and now find myself in the castle again just in time for an earthquake. Not the most pleasant of surprises.

[Said mildly, without any sign of panic, as an assassin's hood was pulled up over his head.]

I thought I might go out and see what might be done to help. How are things on your floor?

So far, there do not appear to be any injuries on my floor, though I do not know how they fare on the other side of the chasm. It's a good idea to go scouting, but be careful. We do not know what will cause the floor to crumble further.

[One could almost hear the smile behind the words. He was not too worried he would find himself in trouble from that.]

Those on my floor have been uninjured as well. The worst complaint was a book failing from a shelf during the shaking. I intend to see if there is a way to cross the chasm to check on those on the other side so if there are injured over there perhaps I can help.
