29. We're frozen inside

At the risk of sounding either obvious or like a downer, I would like to remind everyone that, while the out-of-season snow is unusual, it is still the same as any other snowfall. That is, it is no excuse to engage in reckless behavior and get yourself seriously hurt.

Have fun, but be safe, please. The clinic is still open to treat any injuries regardless, but we would prefer that nobody break any bones.

I feel the same way about River. I want her here, and I know that is very selfish of me... especially because she has come and gone so many times already.

Haha, exactly. I want to see her so much, many times, but she has her career and her responsibilities. When she first left, I almost felt a little abandoned, but I realize that was a selfish emotion. Still, I am very glad whenever I get to see her.

I felt that way when River went away to attend school... she wanted so badly to learn, but I hated being separated from her. [And then there's what happened after, but Simon's not going to go into it.] But we were together back home, and that is what matters.

Indeed. It is always nice to see my sister, and being what I am now, I get more of a chance.

A proud woman, strong, confident - many of the things I wasn't as a boy. Smart too, or she wouldn't have made captain.
