[Mid-day.]

[There's a crackle through the radio, and through the journals, as if someone is shifting something into place. Then the radio crackles once more more, before a song blasts out, and whatever radios were left on are now blaring this particular song.]

[What might sound a little odd after that is the sound of feet stomping, but it's done in a rhythmic way, as if someone has given into the need to pound against the floor in perfect sync. Yes, that's music from Mark's old set-up, and yes, that's someone dancing to it.]

[The next sound might be the next surprising, over the journals. That's the sound of Katniss actually laughing.]

[London is also laughing. One can't help it with such an infectious song! It sounds so familiar, as if it's from her world, and it's a rare bit of joy, considering she can no longer go on unlimited shopping sprees --or have conversations with her old friends.--]

[Katniss hopped from one foot to another, before she called out, letting it be dictated.] Mark had all his old music here! I just dug something out, and started to play it!

[She huffed out a breath.] I really missed the music -- I just ... I hate speaking in public.

(Deb raises an eyebrow at that. She fucking loved that song years and years ago but she's sure as hell not going to admit that to anyone any time soon. Nope, she's going to be stubborn. Plus, she's not exactly in the best mood since she's cooped up after just arriving here.)

Fuck there are things I already miss about home but that's not one of them.

Yeah, I've heard the song before. Used to kind of like it actually. Used to.

(Now she just...well, it just brings back memories of her father who passed away quite some time ago now but who she still misses more and more every day. He was her only family.)
